As a fellow queer lady, if my lady date brought me a flower I would be super giddy. Maybe just get a single gerber daisy or lily, something to show a sweet gesture without being expensive or overwhelming!

Small gestures aren’t typically love bombing, unless they are overly frequent and coming with lots of praise and future faking. As long as you have tempered expectations you will be fine. Good luck on the date!

I love it! Nothing huge and flashy, just tasteful and lovely.

Aside: my first boyfriend (age 16!) brought me a half-dozen rose stems for our first date. You read that right, he brought me stems. If you get it, you get it. (We dated for almost 3 years and are friendly to this day.)
