I met a guy who told me he could speak Spanish. He actually couldn’t. Men are so weird. I met another guy who said he made lots of money, he didn’t and lived with his mom. The stuff they lie about when trying to court is borderline psycho.

My ex-husband was like this. He greatly exaggerated his knowledge and abilities. It got him in trouble more than once and I suspect he lost a job because of it after we divorced.

I think this is a sign of their narcissism. Some, like my ex, actually believe what they say and will exhibit extreme rage when they are shown up (delusions of grandeur.) Others are pathological liars, also a symptom of psychopathy/narcissism. It is a disturbingly common trait amongst men.

Omg. So relatable. I found myself in discussions with where I was talked over about feminism multiple times. They never ask. They never curious. They think they have nothing to learn, although they never opened even an article related to feminism. Now I took a vow to rather bite off my tounge than engaging in a feminist topic with a man. No. Once I was lectured about my OWN BODY. A man had the audacity to tell me he has been with more women than I did, so he knows better the female body (and I’m bisexual). Imagine having the confidence of a mediocre man.

I went on an online date with a guy like this. He said he was a former teen member of a Christian rock band that was really famous, and later on got into journalism by exposing some people responsible for a crime in a small town. Luckily I had just finished reading the exact book he was talking about so I knew he was lying. Oh and he was enormous like 500 lbs. I walked right past him in the bar bc I didn’t realize it was him from his pics bc shocker they weren’t current.

Honestly I feel like most men think they know everything but some are just more audacious.

I dated an English guy who thought he was so smart and told me his country was better than mine (the United States) because of the US’s capitalism? I was like Uhm you live in London like one the capitals of capitalism? 🤔
