That's why I hate that men still have to initiate, break the ice and stuff. If women could just embrace their fucking equality and talk to that boy they like they would spare themselves the cock carousel and they would get the fulfilling life they think they deserve.

I mean this is made abundantly clear when they try to approach guys, they have no game. People need to stop shaming women for initiating a conversation or asking a man out. And like 90% of the times is other women who shame them.

And that's why you would call a woman that dates a lot slut and a man that dates a lot a champ, cause when you are just a passive recipient of these interactions and your only job is to accept or reject you have basically no fucking agency other than allowing more or less men in.

Then they have to dump him cause he is no relationship material and they are back to square one except they lost months if not years of their life. Then they try some nice guy for a change and find out he is just pretending to get some pussy, back to square one once again. The guy they actually wanted in high school is now married with kids.

I'll be honest, I never had issues approaching women. I stopped because I lost interest in what most of the women I've encountered had to offer. Of course it can be argued that I only approached women of a certain type and quality, but that argument would be a weak one. My preferences for romantic company is as fluid as my interests in general. That's just a fact. Regardless of the type and quality of women I approached, after the surface things like sex and general knowledge of each other were secured it would always lead to the realization that as a man it was too frequently on me to generate meaningful experiences.

This is not a blanket statement, but just my own direct experience. The problem with the dating scene is that many women seem to be incapable of generating meaningful experiences for their partners or potential partners. Reciprocity of imagination or a little thoughtfulness is nearly non-existent these days. It's enough to really get a person thinking about the general ideas that now shape the desire for companionship among many.

I stopped approaching and getting romantically involved with women because I realized many women didn't know how to regard men of "romantic" or sexual interest as human beings. They either didn't know or weren't willing to understand how to relate to a man for what he is, a person like herself, or in other words someone she would have to really think about outside the realm of self-interest, even if only occasionally. The most interesting thing that I've learned over time in my experience of dating is that too many people are emotionally and imaginatively bankrupt, which strikes me as ironic given their commonly voiced expectations.

What I've often seen and experienced has convinced me that there is no greater misuse of time, passion, and a creative impulse than a desperate search romantic companionship. Sure you might find the one. Maybe. But you are certainly going to get more out of investing those same qualities and drives into your curiousity, hobbies, and a few decent friendships.

A lot of men I know are spiritually starving in their relationships, and poorly cope with that basic lack of reciprocity through alcohol and drug abuse, or sex, or vindictiveness. All because they're with someone who can neither handle honesty, nor the responsibility of connection. I had to talk a friend out of suicide for very similar reasons only a few days ago. In his own way he's weak, but he's also human and the woman he's with is a dehumanizing element of his daily existence. For her he's simply a source of basic security, food and a roof. Beyond that point they have to be intoxicated just to be around each other. I was honest with him about his lack of courage, but I also reminded him of his worth as a person, and that I noticed the mental state he'd been in. Dude was genuinely shocked that I noticed this. Imagine that, he spends most of every day with his partner and is still shocked that anyone notices when he's visibly in distress. It's just sad. Fellas, do better for yourselves. You deserve it.
