In a physical sense, a human with a penis. A pair of XY chromosomes. They have more muscle mass and usually on average, taller than women.

In a metaphysical sense, a man for me is someone who endures hardship, excels in industry of all kinds, is protective of his loved ones and is a pillar and a vital cornerstone of society and civilization, both that will surely collapse if they withdraw involvement.

Im a Christian MGTOW. For me, there is only Christ. My money and work are used towards that purpose. I wont have a family of my own, not with the ridiculous laws that are set up in this country. But personally i work with a lot of charities overseas. I could give two f@cks about my own money - i have way more than i need to live comfortably as a single man, with early retirement. I have no “idea” what a man is, but for me - I know what i put my own purpose towards.

A man is someone of the male gender. There are genetic qualities that make men more like men, and women more like women (go figure), and there are also sociological/cultural factors that shape what we think of as a man or woman. It's too complicated to parse out in a brief post, so I'll leave it there.

As for what GYOW means, it means no marriage/cohab/pregnancy, and it means unhooking from the need for (and pursuit of) female validation. Beyond that, there are millions of options. It is called going your own way because there isn't one (or a dozen) ways; there are as many ways as there are individuals.

It’s kinda easy if you look at it in this way. A man is someone who won’t be fucked but will fuck someone else. Not in a bad way though like we will try to fuck you over, rob you, hurt you, ect ect but we CAN. This is the animalistic part of men there is a societal balance you see...
