I was over at my girlfriend's house and everything was going fine. Suddenly she begins asking me about my past relationships, which is something I don't want to discuss with women. I told her I don't talk about these things and changed the subject.

She kept pushing, raised her voice and started yelling. I remained calm and told her I wouldn't speak to her when she's behaving like this. She kept going, started to make demands and kept raising her voice. I calmly told her 'We stop discussing this now, or I'm going home'. She actually responded with 'Oh so you're threatening me now?'.

Ofcourse she kept pushing it, so I got up and started to put my clothes back on.

Cue the tears: she started holding me (at least, she tried), crying, yelling about how I couldn't leave like this and I would destroy her and everything we have and all kinds of other shit. She literally started crying, yelling and holding me like a little kid. I actually had to force my way out of the house because she tried to physically hold me back.

I kept my word and walked out the door after which she started spamming my WhatsApp and called me about 15 times. I turned my phone off.

The next morning I woke up to a wall of text about how she's madly in love with me, how she can't bear the thought of me being with another woman, about how she's so sorry about losing control and whatnot.

I will not hard NEXT her for this. She knows my boundaries (clubbing, drinking) and she knows I will drop her if she crosses those boundaries. I've made this a soft next until I see her again.

My question is: what does this do for my frame and SMV in HER eyes? Is walking away from something like this considered 'avoidance' and beta? I know women NEED drama in their lives. Do I behave like nothing happened when I see her?
