When the break up went down, I decided I didn't want to live in the house any more. Too many bad vibes and shattered dreams and trauma in there. The old house is/was a money pit. It almost needs to be gutted - it could use new electrical and furnace and possibly some plumbing. I didn't want it and settled for the money instead and let her have it. Now that inflation is sky-rocketing, I'm kicking myself for the agreement.

Now that I'm out and in my own apartment though, I can clearly see the grass isn't greener. It really sucks actually, b/c now I have nothing to keep me busy. I miss having a yard to play in w/ my son and a garden to keep... and projects to do. (well, I loved to do the projects for her).

Anyways, since men seem to be the ones who typically leave, any other similar experiences?
