Start documenting the things you believe she took. Your attorney should file a child custody schedule and a financial restraining order. How did she take the house? the judge will need police reports to verify a PFA. Courts are well aware of the vindictive spouse and will need proof.

What does your attorney say? Obviously you are reacting really emotional now, but it’s time for you to get organized and think logically. What state are you in? What have you done so far? Men have rights to their child and you need to use your brain. The money will have to be repaid by her in court.

The PFA is probably still temporary. Do what they ask you to do. Probably going to be anger management. I was in this situation and had ZERO custody. Today I have 96% custody and am a much better person/father because of this. Don't give up hope and keep on fighting for your kid. The turning point for me was when the mediator saw how connected I was to my kid.

So first of all it becomes a question of the PFA validity/evidence.. My ex had at one point threatened me with a PFA, as a way to get everything. Only reason she didn't was she knew that her parents, and all three of my kids would have never gone along with it. And that of the two of us she was the unstable one, and there was documentation of that. My ex went crazy a few times .. and I had several times 302'd her. Hell she even hallucinated some crap and called the cops at least twice. I hear a knock at the door, answer it and have cops pointing guns at me because she told them their were intruders in the house holding us hostage. I'm lucky I didn't get killed.

My BROTHER! I am in your EXACT same situation. Just thought I'd let you know you are not alone.

My STB Ex is trying to keep me from getting standard possession, but of course, I am paying the full amount of child support and have no money left. So, I get to pay, but the court won't squash her attempts to keep the kids from me ???? Same story, she claims abuse, but there has never been any proof of this whatsoever.

I know it all too well. My ex used the system and her connections ( she's a politician and very connected in the community / state ) and used a PRE report that amazingly went terribly against me to get the majority of the custody of the kids. Plus she's relocating 5.5 hours away and I'll see the kids every 3 weeks now. That's on top of $100K attorney bill and a huge 6 figure payout to her.

me too-she drained my saving sin $2000 installments over last 3 years, i dont look at that account--its meant for kids college etc--so didnt notice til bank told me account is liquified. but no chance to recoup because it happened before divorce filling

When I went through it it seemed like the court was prejudiced against me and conditioned to believe anything she’d say.

I'm sorry you're going through this, man. Know that it will pass. It may take several years but you and your kid will eventually get through it.

I don't know what it is that some women just feel like if they don't love you anymore, they have to hate and destroy you. Yes, some men are the same way, but from a man's position it feels more damning when they have the law automatically on their side.
