It's done on babies. One shouldn't cut babies without robust medical reasoning, which most MGM lacks.

Equivalent surgery performed on girls is already illegal by international human rights law, and those laws include even ceremonial pin-pricking.

It's a matter of equal protection.

Its genital mutilation of little baby boys. There is no reason to commit this atrocity. Hundres of babies die in the USA alone. Amputations happen as well. Intense suffering later on, no sex drive and depression. Babies can suffer ptsd from the intense pain and trauma.

Nothing justyfies this torture.

Well, it's forced, so it removes bodily autonomy. You could die from the procedure. It removes nerves. Personally, I have no problem if someone wants to undergo the procedure, but they should be old enough (18 at least) to make the choice.

The foreskin is there for a reason(see link).

Circumcision/MGM is fine if it's absolutely necessary for medical reasons (which isn't common as there are usually other options to try first) or if an adult man chooses to have it done on his own accord.

Painful lifelong complications can arise and in some cases baby boys have bled to death from botched circumcisions. A young man who had it done in Canada later committed suicide (link below) because the head of his penis didn't desensitise which meant constant agony anytime he would wear clothing because of the harsh fabric rubbing against it. In mutilated men the penis head usually becomes almost numb without the foreskin to protect it.

Might be something to do with it being bodily mutilation… female genital mutilation is the worst thing ever but male circumcision is seen as normal

The problem is most men have been brainwashed to believe it's beneficial and that we should value what women find attractive when it comes to our bodies. Of course many women would get angry if we told them we want them to go through surgery to become more attractive for us.

Without medical necessity, medical decisions always go to the person themself. They decide for their own body. That's basic medical ethics. Circumcision violates this.

The accounts that post about it here are usually marketing agents and not legitimate members of this community. They might even work on a quota, don't take them seriously or assume they aren't an unwelcome part of this sub. They don't care how meaningless their 'arguments' are. They don't care that they act like freaks and they run off normal people who don't want to be associated with them, that might be their intention. Only people outside of the mrm community think they are tolerated here, despite the volume of people who tell them to go away and not return.

When they threaten to molest infants, or post anti-vaxx nonsense, or threaten to kill themselves, or say bigoted garbage, you can report them. That's about it.
