I yearn for the day being gay or trans etc is just completely accepted. That way, I think they won't ask if the straights are okay or assume we're all born as aggressors.

I was listening the radio a while back when a woman being interviewed claimed all men should be assumed rapists until proven otherwise. This was genuinly her wording. And then, another guest, a high ranking police-man agreed with her. I'm not claiming men suffer more than women worldwide. It's nowhere close tbh. But in a developed nation, something like this was allowed to be on air. The only reason I didn't stop watching was the third guest, a woman who called this ideology out.

I don't agree with far right ideologies. I genuinly didn't know some people still think women shouldn't be allowed to vote in developed countries. However, there's a reason I'm posting a rant like this in men's rights, not r/equality etc. If we are to be judged by the ideologies of these people, then I would happily judge women by the 'kill all men' ideologies.

How is it, that some see no irony in statements like "it's not sexism if a woman hates a man for being a man". I came across this, word for word. I assume most of you would agree that a world of gender equity would be best. So that's why I am thankful for this reddit and community.

I don't care if I am criminalised for acknowledging men have feeling too. And I don't care for when supposedly unbiased news media portrays men as these creatures, who need to be taught how to act in society. It's degrading.

There are people with extreme views on all 'sides'. That's life IMO. It sucks that we all have to roll with the punches, but if you're reading this you're probably better off that most. Don't be content with injustice, just know everyone faces it.

But, I don't have to deal with being objectified by my friends and in mainstream music. I am given no reason to fear going out at night. Women likely suffer more than men on basis of gender. However, this doesn't reduce what we deal with to a lesser concern whatsoever.

It's ok to be a cis, straight, white man, and it's ok to be anything else. Fuck anyone who says otherwise. People are people, we don't choose how we're born, only how we live.

A cringey anime quote- "always remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something and has lost something" We all have to deal with shit. But our shit, doesn't mean there's is anything less, and vice versa.
