I'm not here to start an argument just asking for someone to explain this to me. I don't understand why men shouldn't be circumcised, I'm a woman so I accept that the men in this subreddit are more knowledgeable about this than I am. I've been taught that circumcision is healthier and can help protect against some diseases. I don't think guys should be circumcised after infancy (edit: after infancy as in childhood not adulthood when they can make that decision on their own) but I don't see what's so bad about circumsion as long as it's done by a professional. I'm sure you guys have valid reasons to be against circumcision and I want to hear these reasons in the comments. Again, not trying to start an argument, just wanting to see things from your point of view.

Edit: Don't respond if you're just going to be sarcastic or an asshole about this. I'm only 15, taken 1 Biology class (that I didn't get to finish because of Covid), and the only people I've encountered that have said that circumcision is wrong are on this sub. Thank you to the people who actually explained why they are against circumcision and an even bigger thank you to those who provided links.
