I'm sure that there are other places on reddit that I could ask this question, but so many of you are homemaking superheroes (and just downright wonderful people) I thought I would ask here first. I just moved into a new apartment and I love it. It is a very old home (built in 1916) that was remodeled into a duplex. I love it, it has so much character and history. It does however have one small problem: it has a distinct musty smell. It isn't necessarily a bad smell (it doesn't smell like mold or rot), it is just an old smell. I keep my house clean, I vacumn every couple of days and keep up with the dishes and all the basic chores and don't want to have people come over and think I'm a dirty person (just don't look in my closet). Do any of you have any tips, tricks or general lifehacks to cover up or remove old house smell?
