The prosecution cast Weinstein as a conniving predator who demanded sex in exchange for access to a film universe where he reigned, but presented no forensic evidence or witness accounts.

The state's case instead rested on asking the jury to believe the women.

What I want to know is whether jury bias played a part in the sentencing. Weinstein has had so much exposure as a rapist for years so does this play a part for the jury in their decision making?

What exactly did Weinstein do? Asking for sex in exchange of a role is not illegal. Also is not illegal if he threatened with anything other than physical violence, and he didn't do that.

Raping? all rape accusations have more than 10 years old, and allegedly Weinstein even dated the actresses after the supposed "rape". Also some girls said they were raped many times, how is that even possible? do you welcome your rapist to your house many times? Do those girls even know what "rape" means?

In my country, just yesterday, a girl was raped. She and her 9 year old kid were abducted, the kid was killed bashing his head with a stone, and she was savagely raped until she was covered in blood. THAT's rape. Weinstein did nothing even remotely similar to that.
