In UK, 2018, annual rape claims were 57,882 but conviction rate was just 3.32%. That means 96.68% cases were either false or were based on lack of evidence.

Country like UK where surveillance is so high and court is anti-male, one cannot getaway with crime of rape. Cops turn your life to hell merely on unverified accusation. E.g. they are told to arrest the accused followed by fired from your workplace and 2-3 days of jail time until they come to hear your side of the story not to help you, but to build a strong case against you based on your words. Police don't care about the truth. They are there to convict you.

So out of 96.68% of cases, what percentage of accused do you think can get away with rape? Even if you split this figure, falsely accused will be 48.34% and this is the minimum percentage.

Where the motivation of high annual rape claims is coming from?

UK government pays £11,000 in compensation just to file a police report. They also award it without requiring any evidence or waiting for conviction.

And media wonders why conviction is going down.

The truth is no one knows. As someone who knows a current police officer in my city I'd say in my city it would have to be over 50%. My buddy has taken at least 15-20 rape reports in his career and only 2 have actually gone to court.

There are issues, first of all, with the definition of rape. Apparently even if she has sex but then regrets it, that can count as rape. But really false as in completely made up accusations were quite common where I live. We get lots of teenage / early twenties foreign students who come to 'study English'. For some time there was a spike in claims of rape being made mostly by these foreign women. It had to be the insurance companies who exposed what was happening. All that a young woman needed to get a large sum from a travel insurance company was to file a police report claiming that she was raped and since victims of rape are considered very vulnerable they are not subjected to the type of interrogation and scrutiny that other victims of crime must face. These claims have now gone down to almost zero.

In 1996 the FBI backtested over 25,000 rapekits. Of those tested, 23% of the rapekits excluded the primary suspect.

I don’t know about rape, but it happens A LOT with sexual harassment claims! Low performing women in the work place know they can pull the “SH” card and extend the lives of their careers or try to get money from their companies.

I know this because it happened to me twice. Both times I was trying to terminate the contracts of low performing female employees.

My advice to men, keep all your communications with your female subordinates on email. No one on one communications, no texts, and certainly no coffee or lunch meetings. That’s just setting you up for a he said she said situation.

A lot more than actual rape. They choose not to collect the stats, because the harm done to men is irrelevant and it is political suicide.

Somewhere from 2-10% are proven false. That's for the ones that go to trial. It's probably a bit more.

And no way of knowing for the ones that are not made officially but my guess is a much larger percentage of those are malicious lies.

The provably false rate is actually pretty close to the probably true rate. Both are in the neighborhood of about 10%, although estimates vary.

And that leaves a very large "grey area" that we can't say much about.

False accusations of child abuse and domestic violence are much higher though: 50% and 70% respectively.

And a very large percentage of false allegations are not caught in these stats. Research shows that false accusers avoid going to the police, and usually only file official reports to "save face" when other people encourage them to press charges.

One study shows that as many as 1 in 6 people will be victims of a false allegation at some point in their life. Factors that increase your likelihood of being falsely accused are race (especially being black or latino) and gender (being a man).

If 1 in 4 experience rape and 1/3 of them are reported, then 1% of that being false is still a fucking huge number in total.

If you read through the OP to this blog post, and the subsequent comments from the clinicians we all pay - police - you'll have a good appreciation of the situation with these kinds of accusations in the UK.

If you research this newspaper article (hint: the German word for rape is vergewaltigung; put it into google with Britta Rabe, and hit translate) you'll find a very similar situation across Germany to the one described by the police in the UK.

Even the former "American top sex crimes expert" expressed a similar sentiment. Of course, by her actions in the Central Park 5 case, Linda Fairstein was forever, rightly, discredited; as with all people surrounding these kinds of accusations, they are a duplicitous lot. Note, there has never been 4000 annual official (UCR) rape "records" in all NYC, let alone just Manhattan.

As there is nothing but conjecture out there I have no idea if it is 0.00001% or 100% (obviously much closer to the first imo)

Without empirical evidence i revert back to my own experience.

I only know of one person in my entire pool of friends, family, acquaintances, people I've "heard of" actually be accused of rape.

Interestingly his friends an family immediately called bullshit and after serving a lot of months on remand he was found not guilty.

being my towns biggest drug dealer and also most violent person makes me conclude that either were possible.

In my own life i have an ex that accused me of DV which was easily disproven (thanks to witnesses stating she attacked me and i didn't even try to stop her).

My take is simple, If you sleep with a woman who has a personality disorder like I did (BPD) and have a relationship with them, your chances of being falsely accused go through the roof

Avoid this type of woman in all settings and you will massively lower your chances of ever getting screwed over.
