So what we've learned about people who think circumcision is great is:

. It smells when it's uncut because I'm a lazy parent that can't be bothered washing him properly

. My batshit religion tells me I have to cut up his penis to get him into heaven ( Funny how that isn't a requirement for women isn't it? )

. Uncut penises look weird

. I believe what pro-circumcision groups tell me and think it prevents diseases when there are actual medical journals to prove otherwise

Do people seriously fucking wonder with all this out there why MRAs are so against circumcision?

In Australia we don't really get circumcised that much. It's just not part of the culture. But every now and again you meet one.

I had a friend in school who said his mum got him circumcised because she didn't know how to clean his penis. (Absentee father)

She literally mutilated her son because she couldn't figure out how to pull it back and rinse it with water. I'm sorry, but if your reasons for being pro circumcision are "It's cleaner" or "It's more hygienic" or anything along those lines; you're not only a cunt but a fucking idiot as well.

How can it be unclean on a baby? At that point, it's not an "extra flap of skin" it's literally connected. They only disgusting thing is this woman's attitude and the fact its quite widespread

This is just sickening, but I believe that doctors and nurses are at fault too, considering that she had the baby at the hospital. Cleaning a baby penis takes as much work as cleaning a finger, and never try to retract the foreskin, this should be clearly explained to the parents. I'm from a country where circumcision is not performed and I have sons, so I know perfectly how it works, it takes zero effort.

The problem is that somehow, from what I hear and read, in the US people think that they need to retract the foreskin in babies or toddlers, this should never be done forcibly or it can cause infection, injury that creates scaring that can cause phimosis. Just leave the penis alone, the child with time will start to retract the foreskin on it's one, if he doesn't this is an issue to be addressed in early adolescence, not when they are babies.

Circumsision is not the issue. If you wanna get a circumsision when ur 18 go for it. The issue is people giving baby's who have no say in the matter circumsisions. Imagine ur parents giving u a nose job at 2

I had 3 girls before I had a boy. I did a lot of research on circumcision becauae I had no clue.

I ended up getting one for him about 8 weeks old. My husband is cut and It seemed important for his to look like his dads. ..

Man what a fool. I wish I had left him alone. He seems to have irritation around the base of his penis. The skin there covers it making it easier for the redness to worsen.

He has very acidic poops (sorry) which causes a lot of red bum/diaper rashes. But the poop gets everywhere and can cause irritation on the cut part of his penis.

I hope all will be ok for him and he has normal sensitivity. But I wish I could rewind and make a better choice. We as a society do not talk about this as much as we should.
