He had a shit attorney because she clearly attacked him and apparently strangled him in an unprovoked and sudden manner that could have caused serious bodily injury or death.
The man presumably had no idea whether the attack was actually over. The man had no idea if and when she would attack again, both unprovoked and suddenly.
The man had no idea whether she would pull out a knife and stab him or stab one of the other passengers. The man was clearly attacking in self defense of himself and possibly the public and should have NOT been charged with anything.

He was wrong the second he went back at her. If he dropped the Pringles and beat her head into the floor during the first 40 seconds he would have been O.K. Once she withdrew and didn't prevent him from exiting the situation and he went back at her he became the aggressor. Tactical error my man. She clearly suffers with a mental health or substance abuse issue to the point where she commits a unprovoked attack. The man has to defend himself to prevent injury to himself or herself, but she withdrew and rather then seeking police or railroad crew interventions he went on the attack even after time had gone by allowing him to think about and size up the situation. That is where he made his tactical error, the police came in seeing him as the aggressor and she played it up. He should have walked away to seek help. I don't really care about the down votes because fake internet points dont change the truth. You defend yourself and get away, that is the best practice.

Even if this was two men. You can't go on the attack after the inital aggressive action, you become the actor not the victim. Best policy is always to attempt to de-escalate and remove yourself from the situation. If you cannot then use only the same but opposite amount of force to give yourself an escape window, but never get away then return as a violent actor you will always be wrong and guilty in the laws eyes.

This was not really a good example of pussy pass. No one intervened when she attacked him. No one initially intervened when he attacked her. Police arrives. They passify the one who's having the upper hand at the moment they arrive.
Cause no one really believes that the police just stood passive while she attacked, or for the first 10 seconds of his counterattack, do you?
Now, if the woman doesn't get charged as the aggressor, but the man does, THAT would be a pussy pass. Does anyone one know the aftermath?
