The prisons would fill up very quickly with women actually being charged for assault, pedophilia, domestic abuse etc

There would also be a lot less single mothers since they would actually have to consider that they may not get a child support payday from it

If the welfare state operated under the law that men and women are equal in status and in need, there would be a whole lotta cuts to the gynocentric welfare system, and more support to men in need. Right now, our western welfare state operates under the paternalistic assumption that women need extra protection from the state whilst men are free to fend for themselves when things get tough.
