Lol, I was a professional mover for years and even when I did side jobs I wouldn't charge less than $90 per hour (which would be split between me and one or two other guys). Professionally, the companies would generally charge around $120 per hour and then the cost increases from there depending on how many stories tall the buildings were, plus gas and materials costs. $20 per hour is SUPER cheap.

So why even pay for a moving service if you have family members to help you? I have never used a moving service when I moved. I just drove back and forth moving stuff to my apartment from my aunt and uncle's house and then from my apartment to my house. I had my parents' help and my aunt and uncle's help.

Yeah I am cheap, why pay so much when you are moving locally? Just do your own work and have friends or family help you. Plus my parents have always rented their own moving vans and moving stuff out of the house themselves and also having help from their own friends or neighbors.

This reminds me of a girl that wouldn't want to pay 10$ for me to take her to work and back home for an entire month. Stupid bitches always want everything for free in life so I told her I won't pick her up for free and never did. There was times she took chances though and got a free ride from work to her house, but that is only because I worked at a very feministic work environment and the other women would have called me out if I said no. I left that job because I thought it was bullshit that I worked so hard for minimum wage and had to ride people home sometimes for free. I didn't even mention the times I had to work for free overtime. I'm glad I'm away from their bullshit. I am sitting without a job at the moment, but I feel more free then ever before.
