It's not about them banning people, sometimes bans are necessary; It's about them banning people with the express purpose of creating an echo chamber. This means there is no self-awareness, self-reflection or dissenting voice to perhaps re-frame a flawed narrative.
For example, I am a minority here on two issues; I believe circumcision is wrong but I disagree with the solution that is most popular on the subreddit (Communism). Instead I believe that the correct way of dealing with it is to dispell the long-standing myth that circumcision comes with a bevy of "health benefits with no downsides" which is bullshit. Once that is made clear, parents will not choose to have it done.
Second, I believe that rape , as a term, cannot be used to adequately refer to what would otherwise be the equivalent of "rape" when the sexes are reversed because it is simply not the same thing due to the context observed. In other words, different words for different acts.
I understand that these are unpoular, dissenting views in this subreddit. I don't mind being downvoted or disliked, but that's just it, the moderation does not ban me for simply having a different opinion and, perhaps, some people might look at my arguments and think "Hey maybe he has a point" ..... which would be impossible if only one opinion were permitted.
In other words, we NEED disagreements, we NEED dissenting opinions, we NEED criticism, we NEED .... wait for it.... DIVERSITY OF THOUGHT to grow, to improve, to adapt and evolve.
SJWs/femiinists are putrid scoriae because instead of ever reflecting on whether they are in the right, they double down like the brain-addled retards that they are.

I don't think you are being sincere, I think you are playing dumb, but I choose to give everyone the benefit of the doubt so I will answer.

One of the central tenets of communist dogma is stripping the citizenry of their rights, subjugating them as vassals of the state. This aspect was true when performed by Mao, Lenin, Stalin and even Trotsky would have done it if he ever had the chance.
Communism is the most garbage ideology that has ever existed and the followers are putrid scoriae. I don't think people here are communists , or at least if there are, they are very few... but a LOT of people here are sympathetic towards communism so they argue "Well maybe if we strip the citizens of their rights, little by little it'll be okay?" or "Look, we aren't going to do exactly the same thing, we're just stripping the citizenry of a few core fundamental rights and subjugating them as vassals of the state in THAT way....".
In very very very reductionist and simple terms; The state should never strip parents of the right to be parents and try to substitute them through direct control. The state is NOT your mother and father.
Your parents will do what they think is best for you, even if their decisions are ultimately wrong..... the state will do what is best for the state. That's the difference. Remember that communism = totalitarianism.
Unlike a disappointingly high amount of people here, I am consistent in that I will defend the rights of the citizenry, even if I don't agree with what they choose to do with the liberty they are afforded by those rights (Ex: Adults that choose not to vaccinate their children are morons and I disagree with them, but I would be strongly against forcing vaccinations on children against the parent's will, the state must never force any medical treatment on anyone in such a way... it is a direct violation of the Hippocratic oath as well.).

The difference should be clear to anyone over the age of 13; When someone rapes and beats their child, they are being malicious and extremely harmful to the child. When someone signs a consent form for circumcision, they are (VERY foolishly) thinking that it is in the best interest of the child.
