Oh they fucking know, after seeing their responses carefully crafted even when there are threads and articles completely disproving what they say I think they're doing damage control. Either that, or they're just utterly useless and shouldn't be relied upon anyway, I know I sound harsh, but it's been two years of this shite for me. While shelter spaces are limited, and while women are more likely to die in these circumstances, womens placements are more urgent than mens.

We recently funded a mens shelter. Another one, in fact. These people are just willfully ignorant bigots.

Beyond that, it's a "let them eat cake" moment from a movement that has monopolized institutions and access to them for itself. We simultaneously see the ones in that thread outright hostile to the idea of helping men in feminism and insisting men do their own thing, but also dictating the nature in which they do it should be entirely subordinate to their demands or suppression of them is fine.

And they do this while saying we're misogynist because they've lied constantly about us being TRP and such. So it's pretty clear that even if you aren't misogynist, they'll just conflate you with misogynists and use that as an excuse to suppress you.

It's a mess of contradictory opinions but the net result is clear, men are excluded. That is the effect of feminism.

We have seen them protest, picket and block these in previous years, both in an idea and physical states. We propose a way to help men and we hear "its always about men" or "don't make it about men" or "what about women?" but get the same responses when we question our place in their movements.

You literally cannot speak up on the subject outside of places like /r/mensrights or specific private communities.

I'm not saying we should let men into feminist spaces or focus on men in any "supportive" way in the feminist movement. Men don't need supportive environments, all of society is a supportive environment. Suicide, abuse, poverty; all of these effect women more than men, a thousand fold. What I think is men need to get their heads out of their asses and stop whinging, the fact that any man commits suicide in modern culture isnt sad, its pathetic. To have all society under your heel and still go "bohoo lifes to painful and hard" just shows how whingy men are, and getting them into "supportive groups" only amplifies their idiocy. What do men need support against? They need to sort themselves out. When aspire to be lonely islands, so let them wallowing in their self pity themselves, dont encourage them to get together and magnify their toxicity.
