They questioned the child with leading questions to get him to single out two teachers - myself and a female teacher - but only I was suspended and questioned by police.

This is the most glaring part. Apart from and along with the issue of people having their lives ruined on the basis of baseless accusations, the whole issue is yet another example of discrimination against men, since women almost never find themselves in the same situation

The issue with things like this is both false accusations as well as downplaying sexual abuse. When it comes to men, people are overly paranoid and will persecute men for sex crimes they never committed. When it comes to women, people are overly comfortable and will trust any woman alone with any child, won't investigate accusations of sexual abuse made against them, and often give them slaps on the wrist even when they are convicted

It's why female pedophiles (of very young kids, like daycare) never get arrested, they never even get suspected.

and article headlines be like

woman gets jail for consensual sex with a 15 year old boy, outrageous!

[–]Zero4505 24 points25 points26 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I am sorry to hear that. When I was in high school on of my female classmate was going around jokingly saying the art teacher and her had sex. Well guess who over heard that and next thing he was let go. Most of the class went to his defense but damage done.

  • Society is constantly branding all men by the actions of the few who do wrong. That kind of attitude comes at a cost and is hurting your grandfathers, your fathers, your brothers, and - most of all - your sons.*

So true. I wish my feminist friends would understand that.

[–]Adanu0 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Why are feminazis your friends?

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Because I'm not a complete bigot?

Because unlike SJWs, I think that some people are mistaken, but are not evil people.

Because outside of delusional beliefs (cough RELIGION), some people are still nice to talk to about other subjects.

[–]Adanu0 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This has nothing to do with being a bigot, and everything to do with self-protection.

Are you planning on trying to educate them?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you plan on contributing something, instead of asking leading questions?

Do you plan on hiding in a hole in the ground, away from the "bad people"?

Do you plan on making the world better, or just crying in the corner?

This is the most childish thread I've seen yet in this subreddit.

[–]rocelot7 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

If I tell a christian I'm not one they're always like "I respect your perspective but kindly disagree." Tell a feminists you're not one they go "OMG your such a misogynist."

I'll take the religious over the feminists any day of the week, at least their moral foundation lead to functional societies.

[–]everythingiswrong911 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

"moral foundation"

people can be moral with or without religion, but it is easy to use religion to blur that line.

As for your point about feminists, I agree that for many that is a fair and reasonable criticism, however, I use to be a feminist and so were I assume many other MRA's. How can we claim to be any better if we make the same assumptions about a person when they say they are a feminist.

[–]rocelot7 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Disagreement with feminism meant abandoning the entire ideology. Disagreement with one domination just means going over to another domination. One of the greatest aspect of christian is their ability to reform and reinterpret their teachings to the times.

[–]everythingiswrong911 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

That is an awful nice way of saying- as it suits them and is convenient. Christian's living in the 1850 used it to support slavery, 1950's segregation and so on in countless examples... Whatever I believe "God is on my side. " And it is true for abolitionists as well which goes to my original point people can be moral with it without religion.

There is a form of feminism that exists and is good, we should support that and people based on the merit of thier ideas and nothing else.

[–]rocelot7 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Christian's living in the 1850 used it to support slavery, 1950's segregation and so on in countless examples

So before your dad was even a twinkle in his dads eyes you'll judge your modern man. At the end of the day the foundational ethics of christian are banal in their acceptability to anyone with even minutia of common sense and decency. I'm not suggest the bible in its entirety holds equal value, but something like that ten commandments aren't absurd rules to live your life by (that doesn't mean I think they should all be law.)

Compared to feminism? With its patriarchy, toxic masculinity, and female superiority as its conceptual inceptions. At its most basic and for what its done for humanity has been at best short sighted and at worst actively destructive.

Yes treat individuals as individuals but by self identifying as feminists one admits to either being ignorant or malicious. Kindness, niceties, and politeness can only extend so far. Maybe extend this to the people who've decided to embrace the religion the birthed the greatest civilization this world has every seen, and not just to the ones wanting to destroy it. By god I wish I was being hyperbolic here.

[–]croidhubh -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You know nothing of the slavery mentioned in the Bible. Again, democrats, twisting the words of the bible, supported slavery as it was in America.

You speak an awful lot about a religion you don't seem to know much about outside of your own preconceived notions based on what you've heard, not what is factual.

[–]everythingiswrong911 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Willful ignorance and arrogance.

[–]croidhubh 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Morality can only be argued when there is something to base morality on. By claiming morality can be judged with or without religion means you accept said religious concept as a truth and therefore refuse to accept it outside of the foundations of its morality.

Without "religion", which, most likely in this case means Christianity, there is no foundation and no need for morality. This is what the left has always argued and demanded, especially where sex is concerned.

[–]everythingiswrong911 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Religion is not the source of morality. Religion is man made fiction and therefore man is the source.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If I tell a christian I'm not one they're always like "I respect your perspective but kindly disagree."

You haven't been hanging around enough christians.

There are fanatical fundamentalist christians, just like there are fanatical fundamentalist feminists.

There are also "run of the mill" christians and feminists, who believe the broad strokes of the ideology, without thinking too hard about the details.

Those people deserve friendship and discussion. They can be converted.

Bigots like "mwobuddy" notwithstanding, there are sometimes benefits in engaging people who disagree with you.

[–]rocelot7 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is that something you'd do at work?

I guess volunteering for years for a christian food bank and soup kitchen didn't mean I hung around enough Christians. The worst I've gotten is a passive aggressive "I'll pray for your soul." While a run of the mil feminist have bad habits of breaking down in tears and start throwing things at me. I've met Christians you could never admit the limits of their beliefs, I've never had them get violent towards me. Feminists more than I'd expect (and I have very low expectations.)

[–]mwobuddy -3 points-2 points-1 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You become who you hang around.

There's a reason your parents taught you not to hang out with bad influences.

Unless you also hang out with nazis, you're a hypocrite.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

By that standard, I shouldn't hang around you.

[–]mwobuddy -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, if you keep company with femnazis, I think Im okay with this.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Know your enemy?

[–]guillemqv 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If they could understand that, they wouldn't be feminists.

[–]boxsterguy 18 points19 points20 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The parents of a young boy believed their son, who had begun to touch himself when his nappy was being changed, had been taught the behaviour by someone else.

Stupid, stupid parents. That's what kids do. They touch. They pull. They tug. They flip it up and down. It's not sexual. They're just exploring bits of their bodies, and that one's just another bit like a finger or toe or ear or whatever else. What kind of idiot cop wouldn't laugh that one right out the door? "My kid's touching himself." "Duh?"

[–]stonegiant4 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The photography teacher had a kinda similar story happen to him. He was accused by a girl in his class of having porn on his school computer (which she turned out to have put there). He was fired immediately. Even after the girl had admitted that she framed him there was still no recourse. Now he works at Menards.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This will keep going until people get sued for ruining lives. Once those parents have to shell out to pay for Little Miss Bitch's behaviour, we'd see a major drop off in incidence rate, I guarantee you.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That day everyone did exactly what they should have been doing. A child was being a child and doing child things,

I absolutely, energeticaly, with much hatred, disagree with that statement.

The kid did what kids do - which is explore that thing attached to there body.

The parents are monsters. They deserve to be sued. By both the business and the writer.

[–]chambertlo 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Another man whose life was ruined by a child and their mother. Women continue to destroy the lives of men and society just accepts it. Not this mother fucker. Let some bitch accuse me of some I didn’t do. There would Not be a single expletive I would not use.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The article says 'parents' not 'mother'. And not all women have no morals. Though I agree with what you're saying.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, while we hear endless diatribes about how we need to do more so that the next copy of MS Excel has more women on the developement team, the world remains silent as men are treated with hostility and slowly but forcefully pushed out of the careers responsible for educating our fucking children.

[–]Vandechoz 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It was my dream, too, until men like this were falsely accused. Luckily I realized that before I even went to college in the first place.

[–]Smacktardius 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Since when do little boys touch themselves? Oh right, they all do! But hey, my little boy couldn't possibly be that much of a sicko to wanna touch himself, he must have been taught by the male teacher. Yeah, that's it!

Some parents need to be shot. And any man that is stupid enough to get into teaching/dealing with minors/women on a regular basis is an idiot. The odds are stacked against you in this "I'm such a victim of everything" society we're creating.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is why Men don't go into child care.

This is why I got out of Child care and Education entirely.

[–]Moonvie -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but he can blame only himself and his career choice.

No sane person jumps into a bonfire and wonders why they got burned.

[+]Whanny -8 points-7 points-6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Today, things are slowly getting better. I have post-traumatic stress disorder and still have the occasional panic attack, especially when other people's children say hello or try to talk to me. I even get them when dropping off and picking up my own kids from daycare or when taking them to singing and playgroups.

Nah mate it isn't PTSD, it is awareness. You were just naive before. This is how most men feel and it sucks society made it this way.

[–]Mr_MRAnarchist -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Jesus.. yes, it sucks what the parents did to him... but fuck man... grow a pair and move on with your life... if you are getting PTSD from just this, society doesn't need you reproducing. Another example of the damage feminization of men is doing...
