Man that article was hard to read, God I am so scared of blogs taking over edited news articles. Interesting though.

[–]Chronic-lesOfGnaRnia 54 points55 points56 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And so self congratulatory. What a shitty article. Turtle boy needs a new hobby.

[–]killbot9000 56 points57 points58 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yep, no context, doesn't explain what the hell happened, just goes straight into the cursing.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I thought I just missed something. I still don't know what the “Do You Know How Many Guys I Had To Blow For That” scandal is. They could have at least linked to the original blowjob article.

[–]ScudstockI'm kind of a smug prick. So... 30 points31 points32 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Holy shit, that writer really likes himself and believes that the site is something other than a trashcan

[–]peanutismint 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

pretty sure 'turtleboysports' just gave me cancer.

[–]The1Mia 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think it gave my phone cancer, or maybe I really was the 1000th visitor to the site and won a $100 Walmart gift card three times in a row

[–]Frisbeetime420 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Jesus okay im glad it happened to someone else too what an absolute garbage pile of a blog

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The site is so gay, it gave me A.I.D.S.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That was horrific.

[–]alligatorterror 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When the news become one sided, blogs will rule.

When blogs become one sided, they get a cult following.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They already have

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Multiple reliable sources are reporting to Turtleboy Sport...... via his gmail account.

[–]WorstUNEver 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Multiple reliable sources are reporting to Turtleboy Sports that Colonel Richard McKeon, commander of the Massachusetts State Police, along with at least one subordinate, will be handing in their letters of resignation by this weekend as a result of our blog about the commission of the sentence “Do you know how many guys I had to blow for that” from an arrest report of a Judge’s daughter.

How the fuck is that one sentence. What the fuck happened to grammar? And don't tell me she got old and died; that shit won't fly here.

[–]Ticket2ride21 40 points41 points42 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Man I wish I could tamper with evidence and only have to quit my job instead of going to prison. That'd be really cool!

[–]FatKanibal 23 points24 points25 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're better people than us. If we fuck up we got to jail, if they fuck up, they become us.

[–]RagnaBrock 33 points34 points35 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Is there any source or context here? This looks like a thirteen year old wrote it and I don't know what the hell he's talking about.

[–]mikeoc61 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Long story short: a Trooper pulls over this girl and hits her with and OUI (heroin) She makes some crazy statements: “My father is a judge and he’s gonna kill me”. “Do you know how many guys I️ had to blow to get that? (The heroin)” etc. All of which lands in the police report. Well a few days later the MSP brass confronts the Trooper to get him to remove/redact those statements from his report. Nevertheless he persisted (Sup Liz Warren) and gets sorta disciplined for it. Turtleboysports.com (who gets a lot of blog stuff in Worcester County Mass picks up on this weeks ago and blogs about it. Welp wouldn’t you know it the Trooper decides to sue his bosses. They respond by retiring. This has been a thing in Massachusetts for a few weeks now. The Governor thinks the Colonel of the MSP made a mistake but thinks that redacted or removed police reports aren’t that uncommon.

[–]RagnaBrock 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thank you.

[–]Moleypegsdad 32 points33 points34 points 8 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Nope he didn’t resign he retired. Keeps pension, keeps perks and leaves with an unstained reputation. Same old story corrupt as fuck and walks away.

[+]mrwhibbley -10 points-9 points-8 points 8 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

He is actually a well respected and long tenured officer with multiple commendations. He was trying to do a favor for a friend. Yes it was definitely wrong, and he should be punished. It's just a shame that his reputation is now ruined and he will most likely only be remembered for this act.

[–]mrmrchoice1 points 8 years ago [recovered] (13 children) | Copy Link

Kevin Spacey is actually a well respected and long tenured actor with multiple awards. Yes it was definitely wrong, and he should be punished. It's just a shame that his reputation is now ruined and he will most likely only be remembered for this act.

[–]mattcoletta -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Colonel McKeon aided in covering up a scandalous incident where officers received sexual favors in exchange for leniency.

Kevin spacey attempted to rape an underage boy.

You’re comparing apples to (incredibly rapey) oranges.

[–]jho19931 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link

When did officers receive sexual favors in exchange for leniency?

[–]bruddahmacnut 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

"Bibaud said she had performed sexual acts to pay for the drugs and had offered to perform sexual favors for Sceviour in exchange for leniency, the report stated."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2017/11/08/a-mass-state-trooper-says-higher-ups-doctored-arrest-report-on-judges-daughter/?utm_term=.715e46587d80

[–]jho19931 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Yes. She offered. That does not mean he accepted.

[–]bruddahmacnut 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Correct.

[–]jho19931 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah so i don’t get why you responded to me instead of the other guy. Thanks for responding to me with what i already said.

[–]bruddahmacnut -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, i'm not sure why I did either. I guess just to keep the thread thing going? I dunno. Sorry for the confusion.

[–]mrwhibbley 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I was unaware of the sexual act cover ups. I was only aware of the fact that the judges daughter offered sexual favors in exchange to be let off. I was under the impression those acts were not followed through.

[–]foredom 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There were no sexual act cover ups. The troopers came out against their superiors for being asked to falsify a report against a judge’s daughter who blew untold number of folks for her heroin stash.

[–]mrwhibbley 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I understand what your point is and don't agree. But there is a difference between being corrupt because you give someone preferential treatment and let them off, and taking bribes, framing someone, stealing or beating someone. Spacey appears to have a victim of his crime. Who was the victim of this crime was allowed to be put through?

[–]Poonough 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm the victim of this crime, so are you, so is every tax paying citizen that expects their judicial and executive branches of government to uphold the very laws we pay them to uphold.

[–]GreatSince86 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

One favor here, one favor there. Either way, it was unethical and wrong.

[–]mrwhibbley 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree.

[–]Spoffle 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He chose to do that. He did it to him self. Why is it a shame?

[–]ChicDoom1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

Who cares, it's meaningless if not prosecuted. If I do a crime can I quit my job to make it go away, no!

[–]circlejerker20001 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

You could try to come out of the closet...

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lost on the gay reference

[–]EtherMan 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Usually you can actually when that crime is against the employer. We've had plenty of employees over the years as an example that has been caught stealing or vandalizing office supplies and equipment. Employee protection being what it is and we usually come to an agreement that they'll pay for the damage and resign and on turn, we wont report that crime. Not saying this is the same thing in terms of crime, just saying you can often pay for crimes with just your resignation

[–]nikosteamer 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Do your employees uphold the law ?

[–]EtherMan 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Read again. I specifically said that I'm not comparing the actions...

[–]nikosteamer 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No , you didnt

[–]EtherMan 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes I did... Read the last sentence again.

[–]nikosteamer 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

But do your employees uphold the law ?

[–]EtherMan 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Completely and utterly irrelevant. But yes and no. It depends on what you mean by that.

[–]GoodShitLollypop 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So what the fuck happened in the first place?

[–]Forcistus 17 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Basically, judges daughter told the original trooper that she paid for some drugs with sex and offered sexual favors for leniency. The trooper arrested her and included that in his report. He was then called in and "asked" to omit that from his report because they didn't want to embarrass the judge. He refused and filed a complaint against his higher ups.

This story isn't so much PPD as it is someone with status not getting to get off the hook.

[–]Strypes4686 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Who wrote this shit? They repeated the headline twice and tossed in a shitty ad before attempting to tell the actual story... and failing.

[–]Twistedlester51501 points 8 years ago [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Take it from somebody who’s been there, this happens a hell of a lot more than you’ll ever know. Sad, but true. I’ve been working on a book about this very thing and the people who have read it are mortified. As was I, who actually witnessed worse than this. The criminal justice system is a joke. The worse part is working for people who are elected, and wanting re- elected. This ought to tell you how things really work.

[–]alc0 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Tell us about worse stuff.

[–]Twistedlester51501 points 8 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Without too much major detail, it’s no secret that your status in the community and the size of your wallet directly determines any sentencing or punishment. But the real problem is there really no checks and balances that judges have to answer for. I saw a defense attorney sleep through a whole trial at one time, the judge never admonished him and this young black man was sent prison. Absolutely no representation at all . When I was brought up I was told to let it go.

I have seen judges manipulate the newspaper/press because of something they didn’t like was written about them or a particular court case. The reporter was brought into his office and reprimanded to hell and back and then told you rewrite the column.

I once saw the judge, defense Atty, prosecutor making fun of the defendant talking about what a “fuckin idiot” he was. And then the judge, basically like he was directing a movie, told the attorneys to argue with certain point while at trial, to make it look as if they were fighting for their client. He went to prison.

And attorney friend of mine represented the judges ex-son in law, and was brought into chambers and literally threatened with never winning another case if they screwed over his daughter. Who’s just about like the girl in this article. My atty friend said “fuck him”, and I have to live with myself.

And this really is Not even the worst of it. Court filings come up missing, or never brought to trial, or just kind of pushed under the rug. If you do stand up to them and complain to the labor board or even the ACLU, they will tell you they will not intervene and anything above the common pleas court level. Very very sad. The working class gets fucked every time!

[–]alc0 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sounds horrible. I wish more attention could be given to this sort of thing.

[–]ogre215 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For those as confused by that article as I was and curious as to what originally happened. A judges daughter was arrested for DUI and heroin possession. While being arrested she said to the officer "do you know how many guys I had to blow for that" in regards to the heroin. The officer included that statement in the police report because it's essentially her admitting that it was in fact her heroin that quote was removed from the official reports by higher ups in the department and the arresting officer and his immediate supervisor we're reprimanded for including it in the report at all. This can all be found in a somewhat more comprehensible format here

The linked original article seems to primarily be about rumors that the higher ups will resign or retire and the blogger patting themselves on the back for being responsible for breaking the story

edit: linked to original and some format revisions
