Whether it's 3 percent or 10 percent, the point is it's not 0 percent. Which means Dunham's statement that women don't lie about rape is incorrect. Some women do lie about rape.

2-8% is commonly quoted by the feminist. 8% is the lowest found in a study. 2% is the lowest quoted by someone from the FBI (but is not an official FBI quote).

Not only are these minimum figures, they don't count false rape accusations correctly. One counts rape accusations that the police determine is known to be false. The other counts rape accusations the FBI agent herself found to be proven false.

What's not counted?

Rape accusations that can't be proven false. Any claim where there is even a shred of evidence to support it falls in this.
Rape accusations that are false but lead to convictions/plea deals. One should consider that many innocent people take a very light plea deal (very light due to lack of evidence) instead of risking 20 years in prison.
Rape accusations that never make it to the police. This would be the majority of rape accusations. Feminist love to count unreported rapes, but always forget to count unreported false accusations when determine the rate at which people lie about rape.

I personally believe that the vast majority of rape accusations are false when you add up those three. In fact, there is another way of looking at it. Are men more evil than women? No. Then why would more men commit rape than lying about rape (our society and moral system views rape as the far greater evil).

The whole idea that women lie about rape less than men commit rape is based on the notion that men are evil and women are not.

6% of rape allegations are false under extremely strict criteria. Another 60% fall into a grey area, where they could be true or false.

Feminists like to pretend that every one of those grey area rape stats are true. Any objective person would conclude that some, maybe many, are probably false. Especially given there isn't any, or very little, evidence to prove them true.

According to the police of Helsinki, Finland, over 50% of rape accusations are false. Nowadays, when people (both men and women according to their official FB page) for example first have sex and then the next day regret it or otherwise think that what happened should not have happened though there is no criminal action or intent involved.

TLDR:

At least 6% of rape claims are false
The vast majority of rape claims are unknown whether they are true or false
The 6% figure does not include mistaken accusations where the accuser was raped but named the wrong defendant
The 6% figure only includes those cases where there is strong proof it was false
False rape claims often result in serious harm, even the ones that do not end in conviction
Punishing false accusers does not mean that a genuine rape accuser would be prosecuted if they could not prove they were raped
False rape claims are 4x more common than false claims of other crimes
Rape victims receive a lot of help, but false rape claim victims receive virtually none - this should be changed.

They count anything dismissed or not guilty as "not proven false" aka, may as well be guilty.

These meta studies are done by highly biased groups, obviously, and not based on any kind of logic, let alone science.

The 3% figure comes from Kelly et al 2005. It isn't possible to know the real figure but from anecdotal experience dealing with far higher numbers than most of these studies, well over half of women who claim to have been raped are lying and around half who have named a specific assailant have lied about it (either later admitting it or being caught out in the lie).
