Australia's rape Kafka-trap confirmed: you can plead innocent, but dont dare suggest your accuser is lying. Man punished for defending accusations of sexual abuse - the final pillar of a fair trial has been abolished after standard of evidence, presumption of innocence and burden of proof have gone.

If a woman aborts a foetus she is gloriously exercising a human right. If a man (who is denied that right by law) asks her to do the same, he is a monster. Funny how it's a "baby" now not a foetus.

Wow. Australian study shows that "blind recruitment" exposes women as less competent than men. So what we really need is illegal anti-male discrimination!

I guess personal preference might play a role, but I think women 30+ are usually already past their peak. But I'm 26, so maybe my ideas will change when I'm 30+ (when I was 16 I thought women passed their peak at around college aged)

Either way, I don't get older women who are irritated by men who prefer younger women. It's like: welcome to the world of Not Everyone You're Attracted to Is Attracted to You Back. Apparently most males live in this stage all their lives

I think females get pampered because when they're young and hot, they get all kinds of guys chasing them (including good-looking who ones they like), but then once guys no longer show as much interest, there's a big issue because they're not used to it

Hey, get used to it, woman. You're not entitled for men to like you

Infertility breaks hearts.

As a man who was tricked into being a father and had my life utterly destroyed by a vicious woman, this phrase just set me off.

Yea, it must suck to miss your opportunity to have children, but being tricked or coerced into having them is worse.

I have an aunt and uncle who chose not to have children, and they often express regret.... as they flit around the world, spending half the year on vacation in exotic locations.

Meanwhile, I live in a hovel because my career was ruined and the only jobs I can find with a physics degree and 10 years of experience in I.T. is pizza delivery and bicycle repair.

[–]Griever114 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hey man, i am really sorry to hear that. When are the child support payments up?

[–]Ordinate1 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

5 more years.

[–]MelkorHimself 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is why I'm glad I'm getting snipped soon.

[–]dukunt 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I already got my 3 kids. So i got snipped. Best decision of my life! A fun game to play is dont tell the girls you date that you've had a vasectomy. They'll still say that you've knocked them up! And then you can just laugh at them as they tell you that they're pregnant with your child. Guess again honey!

[–]furchfur 27 points28 points29 points 9 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link

This is propaganda. A males fertility hardly drops at all with age. Mick Jagger, Rod stewart etc etc. The Guardian wants to support a theory in the main stream that men must pair off early since it suits their narrative.

Do not fall for it guys, your fertility does not drop at all.

[–]cymrich 10 points11 points12 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

try finding a source for their claims... it links over and over, only to other guardian articles which mostly say the same things but change the title... they mention a single IVF study in one, but even that link only goes to another guardian article.

[–]Lethn 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

This article perfectly describes the problem with the left in general, they will only ever look at sources like the Guardian. They do absolutely no critical thinking, I even see it within my real life social circles people who think going to the Observer ( A Guardian subsidiary ) or the independent another left wing newspaper automatically makes them smart.

It's absolutely pathetic seeing adults act like this and I'm determined to mess with it as much as possible.

[–]halfbakednco 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The right does it as well. It is called Confirmation Bias. It is a problem that is not exclusive to either political party or any ideology. I applaud your efforts to combat it.

[–]Lethn 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Oh of course the right does it as well, but the difference is there are people calling them out for it on a regular basis and the left hold's them to a much higher standard. The problem is until recently there has been no one else doing the same for the left.

The problem we have now is the left has become so batshit crazy that even people like Sean Hannity are sounding more sane than them even though we know people like him are really just christian traditionalists or fundamentalists pushing an agenda.

I really wish there was a more Secular Capitalist type of political groups or form of media out there that I could follow but the most I've seen is people like Joe Rogan, Sargon of Akkad or David Rubin who are fairly left leaning even though they're very good at what they do.

[–]halfbakednco 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Very true, personally I'd love it if we could just get media to be pure facts and not biased in their agenda but that is a pretty lofty dream. Foreign media helps a little in cutting through the BS but even it is subject to an agenda or bias. I don't like the current trend of the left acting just like the right did during Obama's 8 years. I felt they handled the Bush years better w/o being as crazy. I feel in part they're just trying to match how batshit crazy the right was during Obama's terms like its some kind of strategy.

Personally I'd like to abolish political parties and people just run for office on their own god damn principles and ideas. If I like you I'll vote for you, if I don't I won't. I don't need a R or D by someone's name to tell me what to do. I hate having to register to vote affiliated to some party I don't entirely agree with or support. This would also get people talking about political candidates without the current attitude of "Us vs. Them/Red vs. Blue" that stops all meaningful debate as soon as the other person learns you're not in their gang. Would also solve to some extent bias in the media as they wouldn't have a "side" to rally support for.

[–]Akitten 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You might not need an R or a D but the vast majority of people do, because they aren't interested enough in politics (or anything) to care.

Look At the recent legislative French election, 80% of the candidates, despite not being part of a political party, tried to advertise themselves as "with the president", not their own ideas.

Abolish political parties and people will just substitute in something else.

The problem isn't political parties, it's a lack of political engagement from the majority of the voting population.

[–]Moonvie 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If I remember right Mel Gibson and Robert de Niro also had children after 60.

So yeah, keep yourself healthy and your little guys will do just fine. Maybe not great, but fine.

[–]mymraccount_ac 23 points24 points25 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And then you spot a man in the corner. He is hunched. He is lined. He is grey. He looks up. His eyes light up. Your heart sinks. If you’re a woman over 40 who has tried internet dating, you have probably been here at least once. The photo is fine. Or at least the photo is OK. He is not George Clooney. But you are not Scarlett Johansson, and you are not 25. Look, he has, or seems to have, his own hair. He has, or seems to have, his own teeth.

Pure denigrating objectification. And she wonders why men aren't interested. The author sounds like a horrible person with a hatred for men.

[–]lasciate 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

She sounds like a person trying to reconcile being shallow, greedy, and picky (i.e. the human condition) with her brand of "good-think". As she tries to defend being attracted to attractive people she only ends up espousing more and more heinous views. Like a person with "not enough" friends of different races talking themselves into a rant on Their Struggle.

It's incredible that society - women in particular - has bought into the idea that attraction should be a philosophical exercise. Romantic love is a damaging concept outside the hands of long-dead poets.

[–]CountVonVague 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's incredible that society - women in particular - has bought into the idea that attraction should be a philosophical exercise.

Relatively speaking it makes as much sense to me as deriving philosophy through martial arts, only that's from a masculine perspective and this is from a feminine one. Given that women had less ability to tame the world and gather resources than men the fact that many would develop a paradigm where interpersonal relations are just as tricky as hunting a wild boar because to ancient women such a thing was actually a matter of survival. If women couldn't be attractive they wouldn't be able to catch the attention and affections of a competent man and their quality of life would suffer as a result. Just a thought.

[–]lasciate 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sorry I missed the comment, I usually don't browse while logged in.

I wasn't talking about the deification of attractiveness. I was talking about the insane level of obfuscation of the reasons for our attraction to others that we as humans have embraced. Essentially, the lengths we go to in lying about why we find another person attractive. We are closer to Kim Kardashian than we are to Elizabeth Browning in matters of love and romance, but people are violently opposed to this concept.

For example:

  • "He's just so rich and handsome confident."

  • "She's really down to fuck earth."

[–]CountVonVague 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People just don't want to acknowledge that we're largely walking apes with advanced excuses for base personal dispositions

[–]Ultramegasaurus 39 points40 points41 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It's not just their fertility, a lot of these older, chronically single women are unpleasant partners with high demands, anger issues etc.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Add in divorce and the family court and that's a bad stew I would rather avoid. Most men would.

[–]Griever114 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

personally, i dont believe that divorce and family court makes them worse. It merely brings out the crazy in full force.

[–]xNOM 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well to be fair, everyone gets more ornery and puts up with less shit as they get older. The men as well. Yet another reason why waiting till 35 to look for a baby daddy is stupid.

Women hold absolute power in today's dating world. And absolute power corrupts absolutely. If you're not Chad Thundercock, the juice is simply not worth the squeeze. The only real power you have is to say "fuck it all" and walk away. Women could change the game if they wanted to. They could kick out the Chads and actually start giving their best years to the "good men" for once. But they don't want to, 'cause Chad is HAWT!

[–]CountVonVague 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They could kick out the Chads and actually start giving their best years to the "good men" for once. But they don't want to, 'cause Chad is HAWT!

what was it again, that by and large women only go for the top 20% of eligible men while considering the other 80% to be settling?

[–]User-31f64a4e 23 points24 points25 points 9 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I was first told that I was “past my peak” by a dating agency when I was 36

Wow, it took a decade before anyone would tell her the obvious truth about the wall.
With women this deluded, is it any wonder we're in the mess we are in?

Still, near the end she actually makes a bit of sense:

Perhaps this research will remind us that we all need to be a bit more honest about the choices we face. Do we wait for Barack Obama or Angelina Jolie, or go with Mr or Ms Good Enough?

Do we go for the healthy baby in the rented flat or risk no baby by waiting for the mortgage or the house? Do we, in other words, live in the world as we would like it to be, or the world as it is?

Alas, the world as it is fails to be politically correct; only the world as it should (but never can) be appeals to the SJWs and feminists now running society.

---

What is also notable in this article is the illogical assumption that because male fertility declines with age, men should no longer seek younger women.
It takes longer to have children if you are an older man? OMG, better not date a young hottie and fuck a whole lot then!
Greater odds of unhealthy children? Well, how will going with an older women help that?

Women's fertility hits a hard wall. Male fertility tapers. The stupid author of this article somehow thinks men should be forced to just give up at the same age as women do or something.

Beyond stupid, like most of what is in The Communist The Guardian.

[–]fengpi 8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The stupid author of this article somehow thinks men should be forced to just give up at the same age as women do or something.

Well that seems to be similar to the animus underlying the exaggerated levels of mockery and selective reporting on side-effects of experimental male birth control drug trials causing the trials to be discontinued. "Ha ha ha, the drugs gave men teeny headaches (and sterility, but never mind that) and stummy aches! Ho ho ho, what wimps! Hee hee hee, etc." For if women have to suffer side-effects from birth control, then by gum, men ought to be suffering them too. Preferably worse side-effects, the jerks.

Despite her not-so-subtle digs against men, this made me pity her a bit. I've never read a more desperate plea for male attention, a ring on the finger, a penis in the vagina and a baby in the womb in my life.

If you read up on her, she was all education and career oriented in her youth - probably a product of feminism who wanted to be so much more than a mother and wife - but now all she craves and pleads for is to be a mother and a wife.

Is it any wonder why the female happiness index has decreased suchs taggering amounts since the liberation of women...

You can't change instinct and biology, but you can fight them for decades to the detriment of your own mental health.

Feminism makes women unhappy... feminism is cancer for society and our civilization.

Yep, she epitomises the current epidemic of depression in working women. They got sold on a dream of working hard all their lives, just like men. But when they start to approach their 40s they realise that it's all a lie, there's no glory in working hard. I can honestly say, as a 40 year old man still dating, some women are just depressed, baby crazy and dangerous to be around.

It's a shame, because I want the same thing still. I've been waiting my whole life to meet the love of my life, to settle down, have children, live the dream. But I haven't been sleeping around all my life, using the pill to stave off parenthood. I've had my soul crushed by being alone and miserable for most of it. I just know now that 'the one' is not out there. Any woman I meet now that has my children will simply leave me as soon as she as get what she wants, then deny me access to my children, and drag me through the courts. I know it because the other 75% of single women I meet are just like that - single mothers that have destroyed someone's life just to start sleeping around again.

And it would destroy me, and I'd end up as just another statistic of middle aged male suicide. Then there'd be some pink haired gender studies student adding me to the list of men that kill themselves after losing their family, while blaming 'toxic masculinity'.

[–]Maxlifts 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What raises my eyebrows is the fact that she used infertility as an excuse as to why men must date women their own age. "Womens being infertile means their past their prime at 35+, but look it happens to mens too!"

News flash, old guys don't date young women because their so fertile, in fact the exact opposite, they DON'T want any more kids. And notice how the author says nothing about these young women who CHOOSE to date old rich guys because of the lifestyle they can provide them. Jeez someone is jelly.

[–]asillyduck_ 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Comments from the guys are entertaining, on the article. The men generally of course see through it. Even if some are ... stuck.

I just want one of these stupid idiots to come out of their safe spaces, just once, so I can say, you feminists dug your graves now you can fucking lie in it.

That will never happen though which is why this idiot writing this article is working for the Guardian and why she is surrounded by sycophants and why they can keep on writing their bullshit and have all their friends agree with it constantly.

A 45 year old man having kids with a 30 year old woman is still a hell of a lot less risky than the other way around. Even though sperm degrades, men simply have a decade more time than women when it comes to producing healthy offspring.

Besides. As a male, having kids past 45 is irresponsible and not practical unless you are loaded and can retire early or afford to have your kid raised by nannies or butlers. Who wants to be a fulltime worker in his 60's or 70's and deal with a teenager? Only the rich and famous can do that easily.

I'm 33 and would only date women in the 23-31 range because of women's fertility degrading faster than male fertility. A former colleague of mine met and had kids with a 38 year old women within 2 years of meeting and shortly afterwards got dumped. I want to avoid that tyvm.

If i am childless by age 45 i will just adopt several puppies...

Being young/fit enough to raise your kids and see them become independent adults is a far more important limiting factor than sperm quality. But men having kids with women up to a decade younger than themselves is a sound choice. This article uses examples that may occur in less than 0.5% of couples having offspring. Thus the author of this article is a fucking idiot for bringing up this argument.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A former colleague of mine met and had kids with a 38 year old women within 2 years of meeting and shortly afterwards got dumped.

Sounds like what I had in mind when thinking about this issue. Women will get the kid they thought they needed and then when confronted with reality will resent the hard work they had to put into it, so expect the dude to be constantly harassed to step up his game or be gone. This happens with younger women so it can only get worse with older women.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If i am childless by age 45 i will just adopt several puppies.

As I told some buddy of mine, if you wanna leave a mark on this earth, help people in need instead of having your kid. They'll appreciate and remember you much more than your own kids that know it's your duty. Why bring your own kid to this hell?

[–]majortom22 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This article was one deluge of delusion. There weren't any "whoppers" in it, more just after every other line I would say "no, that's not quite it....you're not getting it" and you compound 'not quite getting it' over course of the article and you're left with a heap of dung. What's even worse are all the women thanking her for the "honest" assessment.

Example. She tried to pass it off like men and women decline equally. They don't. Its intellectually dishonest. I don't doubt that a 21 year old man is producing superior seed to his future 41 year old self.

But a woman's fecundity starts to nosedive at a certain point. Not at all comparable to a man's gradual decline. And one that doesn't suddenly explode with menopause. After nosediving a few years she crashes and she's just done at some point. A man is still rockin' 30 years later.

Also the entitlement she displays. You're not entitled to men or male attention. No means no, don't you know?

[–]cymrich 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

wow... this article only links to other guardian articles for sources as far as I. an tell. I think I went about 5 articles deep and couldn't find a single actual source for any of these claims cited! I'm on mobile though so it's possible I missed something.
