It looks like he probably assaulted somebody at least, but how valid all the claims are is entirely unknown. Unfortunately, there is not too much evidence either way.

I haven't paid attention to the case much recently, but from when the accusations were happening, there was basically a woman that accused Cosby of drugging and raping her. She claims she was given drugs, she became either paralyzed or unconscious, and then he took advantage of her. He claimed sex happened but was consensual IIRC.

After one woman came out and it was publicized, many other women started coming out with similar stories. These aren't without their problems, however. For instance, I listened to a drug expert say that Cosby would've had to have pretty much been a pharmacist, because the ways that these women are explaining the drugs, he would've had to have access to many different kinds of drugs to get all the different effects that were happening throughout the many accusations. Also, these people very well could've heard the original claim against Cosby.

The lawyer who went after Cosby is Gloria Allred, mother of Lisa Bloom, and Bloom is the one who is representing Kathy Griffen after the beheaded Trump fiasco. The press conference for Kathy was that she was a victim of old White male hate that was unfairly targeting and bullying her. Yeah, they really tried to argue that. Gloria Allred has a long history of being a Feminist lawyer. While Cosby is Black, there is definitely motive here for these lawyers to try and use this case to further their political agenda, because he is still an old man.

Maybe Cosby did it, maybe he didn't. It's a little suspect that they all waited over a decade before going after Cosby. Why all these women would be lying is definitely up for debate as well. One thing is for sure: The jury was a hung jury and the judge called for a mistrial after 50 hours of deliberation. That should tell all of us that this isn't an open-and-shut case like people are making it out to be, and unfortunately for Cosby, while he earned the mistrial, the prosecutor is going to re-try this case and this thing is going to be caught up for a long time. Whether Cosby can get a speedy trial, a Constitutional right, is now seriously in question IMO.

Large numbers of people and similar accusations mean nothing when you're talking about one of the most famous people ever to have existed.

Quaaludes are not roofies.

Everyone in Hollywood at that time had a prescription to Quaaludes.

He never admitted to drugging women without their consent.

Hopefully I've provided some insight.

If he did it, I hope they find him guilty. If he didn't, I feel sorry for him because he was already found guilty in the court of public opinion.

My opinion is he didn't do it. The reason why is because someone at his level had little incentive to do something like that. They could get any other woman out there. And the consequences of him being busted at that time would have meant the loss of his career. Further, women have an incentive to claim somebody they knew personally who was famous sexually assaulted them. The realize it is an easy ticket to money. As soon as one person made the claim, it is not uncommon for a popular person to have a ton of them. Further, several women have already proven to be faking.

He's been accused by something like 60 women, so it is hard to think there is only smoke and no fire here.

With that said, the facts in this particular case are very questionable. Constand knew Cosby was married, but had candlelight dinners and cuddled on the couch by the fire even after the alleged incident. Also, she texted Cosby 4 times on Valentine's Day, again, after the incident.

She lied to police about prior relations with Cosby. She went right for a civil suit.

This is just speculation, but it could be that Cosby has crossed the line with other women, and Constand targeted him with the goal of getting money.

From what I gather, these women knew they were taking a pill to help them relax. He gave them a relaxant, not a date rape pill, so they had full memory. Basically, it is the same as offering a person to smoke weed to get them in the mood.

Again, I find it strange and unlikely that all of these women are making it up, but we don't have proof.

Gloria Allred is also a blind feminist that is doing so much damage to rape victims across the country. She seems to latch onto hoaxers.

Agreed. There is so much media shit going on with bad news outlets who are cashing in on it and random tweets that pick up traction for no reason. Also, he's been accused by like 50 women, surely someone must've noticed at least something before it reached that many women he raped.

Having an opinion on Cosby's case doesn't mean you want the court to disregard facts and give a ruling in line with your opinion.

So, did Cosby sexually assault women? Under the law he's innocent until proven guilty, but I think he sexually assaulted women. Let me put it like this, if I had to bet my own money on whether or not Cosby sexually assaulted women, I would bet all in on him sexually assaulting women. But I think the court should make a ruling based on the evidence provided to them, not my educated guess.

My educated guess is that, given all the women that have come forward accusing Cosby of sexually assaulting them, I personally think it's more likely that there is truth to their claims rather than this all being an eloborate conspiracy to frame Cosby for a crime he didn't do and as a result destroy his legacy, reputation, and livelihood.

If a hundred unrelated people accused Eve Ensler of molesting their daughters, over a period of decades, and in different states, would we even be having this debate?

Let's face it, it would be unprecedented for all these accusations to be bullshit. Not enough to jail him, but enough to not let him near our daughters and wives.
