Prostate cancer is the one of the most aggressive form of cancer with high mortality rate yet it receives very less press substantially less than the less mortality rate of breast and ovarian cancer. It also does not receive healthy funding for more research and advance treatment facility.

Ben stiller is being divorced by his wife of 18 years shortly after he divulged that he battling prostate cancer. In a society where it is considered chivalrous and manliness and expected out of a man to support his partner when in distress and in bad health it is far more forgiving for women.

edit: spelling

Most cancers are deadlier for men, and again, get less money and media coverage. Said it before and I'll say it again; contrary to feminists claims that this is a female issue, I think its a male one, along with work related deaths, homelessness, and many others.

If there were any justice and feminism actually cared about humans and not just female ones, they'd shut up and start discussing these issues. HUMAN issues, not feminist ones.

A guy I used to work with was diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer in July and was dead by December. In contrast "The 5-year survival rate for most men with local or regional prostate cancer is almost 100%. Ninety-eight percent (98%) are alive after 10 years, and 96% live for at least 15 years"

The stats for all types show more men dying.

[–]UDT22 -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Citation please

[–]Spaghadeity 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Where are you citing that from? That seems a bit high. Maybe the study that said that was talking about when it's caught early? Basically any cancer will fucking kill you if it's caught super late and has spread. Most, if caught super early, are fine too.

So yeah. Citations please?

From what i have seen, most cancers end up being prostrate cancer. If you know what i mean.

[–]single_use_acc 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Glad to see you're not taking this lying down.

[–]LoyalGun4U 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When it comes to prostates, being on all fours with an arched back is best. At least, that's what I've been told.

[+]thekanator points 9 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

but do we really know that this was the reason he was divorced? he announced it over half a year ago.

[–]anonlymouse 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's the most likely explanation.

[–]patri0t556 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is this prostrate cancer you speak of

[–]the_unseen_one 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women abhor weakness in men, what a shocker. What is really shocking are all the comments defending the wife for abandoning her husband when she needs him most, and all the comments saying Stiller is just doing this to remarry some 20 year old. The lack of basic humanity is incredible, and it is excused rather than shamed.

[–]UDT22 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

He had his prostate gland removed. That means no more sex.

[–]Halafax 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Prostate surgery can cause serious issues, including incontinence and erectile disfunction, but not always. You can have sex without a prostate.

[–]UDT22 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Really. Oh well if true that's good

[–]MagicTampon1 point 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You must be thinking of prostate cancer.

/r/theredpill is leaking again

woman leaves

tale as old as time

[–]ponybau5 10 points11 points12 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't matter, you're still a cunt if you leave someone because they're dying or very sick.

[–]lolnottelling 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm sure there's more to their relationship that tabloid magazines tell us.

[–]CurtisAxelmania -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What if you don't begin dating someone because of that?

Are we obligated to stick with sick people?

What if they turn into massive cunts?

Or people sick because they are fat or smoke?
