So two years is a high end sentence for child sex abuse? When women are on trial the legal system starts acting really weird. It's a joke.

It WAS a romp. Just read the facts. Nobody, regardless of sex, should be going to prison for something like this.

By the way, she is the victim (if any) in this case, and yet the accused remain anonymous. This is exactly the kind of thing that MRAs fight against, not for. The sexes of the accused and victim shouldn't matter.

This is what feminism should be about. Feminism seeks to solidify the already inherent worth of females. It should also be seeking to solidify the inherent worth of males. This article shows a display of natural compassion for a female who gave into natural sexual desires, which aren't inherently destructive to a person's worth.

A man who similarly has consensual sexual relationships with multiple teen girls shouldn't be jailed for life and labeled a "pedophile," a term that implies the victim was incapable of sexual desire.

At this point, someone reading this will be disturbed or pissed off at me. But... I sort of have to ask:

Isn't the harm of young consensual sexuality primarily a social construct? I mean, the world doesn't end if a teen has sex with another teen. They live and learn.

But probably more importantly:

Isn't feminism about empowering women? It's not empowering to treat this adult woman as if she's not a criminal, but it is compassionate. Therefore:

Why not, rather than giving her "respect" of harsher punishment, we give young girls the respect we give these young males and realize that a female's value isn't somehow diminished just because they're sexually active?

Is this not the ultimate disparity people sense between these scenarios? No one respects the feelings and choices of young girls because we objectify them and tie their value to their innocence.
