Here is my take on a lot of these cases.

I am going to generalize and I already know there are exceptions. If you hate generalizations please stop reading now.

So in most divorce and child custody situations the father makes more money. If the father gets full custody or at least enough that he doesn't have to pay CS, then the government loses a customer.

A customer you say, yes, a customer. Most if not all western governments have a child support agency who has the job of collecting and distributing CS. This agency employs hundreds of thousands of people whose job it is to enforce child support orders. If father got custody a lot , then there would be a lot less money to collect, a lot less people to collect it from therefore people would no longer have a job.

The short answer is that the federal government has a Child Support Enforcement (CSE) program that provides grants to states based on how much child support they collect. This provides states an incentive to give custody to the poorer parent and order the wealthier one to pay child support.

In the same boat now. Wife refuses to work for almost a decade short of a year or so at the end. I busy my ass 10-14 hrs a day to the point my body burns out and income suffers.

We went up in court and its all about how hard she has had it for a long time and how much I have to pay her despite no longer having a job. But she gets our son and government checks every month while I get told I dont need anything and should 'man up'.

Even though I am totally against the modern feminism (so called), it must be also remembered that it was men dominated house that created these laws. Men who failed to foresee the future. Even today there isn't much change. Rather than focusing on feminism primarily, to win the true men's rights we must focus the energy on those men.

Unpopular opinion alert:

The standard for depriving someone of custody of their children is and should be very high. Being a drug addict alone is not a good enough reason to take custody away from someone.

I don't know what you mean by "full custody," but that suggests you're taking away all parental rights from one parent and I would hope courts are loathe to do that.
