Swedish feminist politician Barbro Sörman even went as far as to defend foreign-born rapists saying that rape by a native Swede was worse because “the Swedish men who rape do it despite the growing gender equality. They make an active choice.”

I can't tell you just based on this paragraph how much I hate these people. It's such a fucking joke that they're the ones calling everybody racist and sexist when they're the ones who think that women are so fragile that they don't have any agency in their decisions and that migrants should be held to a different standard if they choose to live in a western country.

Gah... Just.... Yeah, I don't know what else to say other than fuck these people lol.

[–]Dis_mah_mobile_one 15 points16 points17 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Overt hypoagency plus deniable manipulation is female power. Claims of fragile hypoagency will only increase as women get more "equal" with men, because feminism doesn't care about equality but only wants female superiority.

This is the problem in a nutshell, and so many think it's confined to men's rights, eg, gender. It isn't. The problem is progressivism (anti-liberalism) being prioritised ahead of classical liberalism (individualism).

Progressivism asserts society isn't comprised of individuals but collectives; it was established to oppose individualism (classical liberalism) at the tail-end of the 19th century. It holds a firm belief in social (soft) science (most of which it invented), technology and technocracy (state power, at the expense of social power, eg, social unity). Liberals always advocated limited governance and individualism, until liberalism - owed to its positive connotations - became conflated with 'leftism' and 'progressivism.'

Progressivism of the 1920s advocated eugenics, or rather the sterilisation of non-white people who it, through deferring to Darwinism and its 'educated' perspective (it reduces society to an equation), deemed 'unfit', 'uneducated' and 'imbecilic'. Progressivism, which was supported by all the same people then as it is now (feminists, legal professionals, journalists, prominent politicians, etc.), sterilised them (non-white people) and its policies on eugenics served as the blueprint for National Socialism's experiments with eugenics in the 30s. Eugenics only fell out of favour with progressives after it was revealed what happened to Jews, Gypsies and Jehova's Witnesses during WW2.

The thing is, it isn't any different today - today, progressivism deems the 'white man' is genetically inferior owed to his predisposition to warfare and his 'innate privilege.' This is the basis for his 'diversification', and the seeming legitimacy of anti-white rhetoric. Progressives are now, and always have been, obsessed with race.

The progressive isn't actually opposed to anything on a principled basis, it deems all morality is contextual and should be filtered by the identity of the perpetrator; the problem with identity politics, which progressivism relies on to take down anyone within eye-line, is nobody is right because everyone is wrong.

It doesn't oppose racism, sexism, homophobia or xenophobia, it merely exploits identity as a proxy for class warfare. Its opposition to racism stops at the border of white victims and non-white perpetrators, its opposition to xenophobia stops at the border of hating western nation-states, its opposition to sexism stops at the border of male victims or female perpetrators, its opposition to homophobia stops at the border of fawning over a communist tyrant (Castro, probably the biggest homophobe the world has ever produced) and, as is the case with Sweden, its advocacy of women's rights stops at the border of Islam.

Identity is, for progressives, merely a tool to divide classical liberals. It's propaganda - when you accentuate and repeat perpetration by the 'evil identity type' (white heterosexual men) and omit, rationalise or contextualise perpetration by what second-wave feminism deemed 'the new proletariat' (women, non-white people, non-Christians, non-heterosexuals, etc.), you create the pretext for political conflict between identities.

None of it resembles reality, there are no 'black people', or 'homosexuals', or 'women', in the collective sense, however the conflict needs to be manufactured to accrue support for the only thing statists (control freaks who hate individualism, freedom and liberty) ever care about: power (global government). It is, at its heart, Marxism.

The problem only became more pronounced when progressivism returned to the mainstream under the Third Way, which was the amalgamation of far-left social values and right-wing economics. They deemed it centrist (it wasn't then, it isn't now), they deemed the political spectrum changed, but it didn't - they destroyed it.

These people run the west, which is why Brexit, Trump, Corbyn, UKIP, Geert Wilders, Marine Le Pen and Sanders attract such fanatical support - millions of people, under the Third Way, were disenfranchised in a decade under Blair, Clinton and Schroder, to the point ideologies which have been subscribed to for centuries were suddenly deemed 'extreme.' Even the nation-state, the only paradigm in international relations for centuries, is deemed 'extreme' under totalitarian progressivism.

In reality, it's the Third Way - the far-centre - which is extreme, and it always has been. It's all a massive rhetorical flourish, reliant on propaganda, shame and guilt-tripping, enacted by nefarious ideologues.

I genuinely believe we're watching the demise of Western society / culture. Apathy and tolerance are the dying throes of a crumbling empire.

[–]Mens-Advocate 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I can't tell you just based on this paragraph how much I hate these people.

There used to exist a rational left dedicated to social and economic cooperation. It has degenerated to raw identity-based lunacy: Female always good, third-world always good, first-world male always bad.

Now, in the left's view, if first-world female vs third-world male, which is right? Third-world male, of course. Whodathunkit?

[–]TheCitizenAct 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

It all emanates from Marxism. Engels used to write about the 'oppression' of women endlessly (http://www.isreview.org/issues/02/engles_family.shtml). It inspired second-wave feminism's definition of marriage and penetration as an act of oppression, which manifested in the second-wave feminist cult (which was started by a communist, ie, Betty Friedan) entering into same-sex relationships in the 70s to force men into succumbing to their demands, and thus revealing a true inequality no-one dares speak of: sexual prerogative*.

Inspired by Engels, second-wave feminism redefined the class war dynamic to construe of women as 'the new proletariat' - it was only a short step from this to considering every non-white, non-heterosexual and non-Christian an 'ally' in the struggle against the oppressive force (white heterosexual men), irrespective of their ethics or principles.

It's the personification of cognitive dissonance but perhaps its most destructive quality is its subscription to moral relativism, or notably the notion 'truth' should be filtered by the identity of the perpetrator or victim. This is what Trump refers to when he talks about 'fake news', and it has a very long academic tradition. At its root it posits judgement can only be passed within identities; it deems it 'ethnocentric' or 'racist' to judge another's culture or identity.

Sadly, the entire progressive ruling elite lives by this framework - the only other framework is religious, or an absolute subscription to morality - to the point there literally are no principles; everything can be, and has been, justified (including murder and rape, eg, Cologne and Rotherham).

Under this framework 'racism' (which alongside misogyny was the greatest political weapon of the 20th century and one which is ripe for exploitation, as far as progressivism is concerned) veers from 'bad' to 'good' not based on the act of racism itself, but on the identity of the perpetrator or victim (thus legitimising anti-white racism).

Logically extended, this framework would posit it racist to interfere with a National Socialist's right to perpetrate the holocaust. On the surface-level it's very appealing, it knows nothing of consequences or consistency and affords the opportunity to avoid the discomfort of taking a principled or moral stance across all of life's eventualities, but the ramifications are, and will be, disastrous (particularly for social unity, as we're currently beginning to witness - yes, it is just the beginning).

On this basis, despite being agnostic, I've come to find a new appreciation for religion.

*It also led to no-fault divorce, which determined a marriage could be dissolved without any wrongdoing on either side - this led to a massive increase in divorce rates within just a few short years, as well as more women entering the workforce, which leads to fewer children, more single parents, and people marrying later in life. It destroyed social unity.

true inequality no-one dares speak of: sexual prerogative*.

Bravo!!!! You have raised the issue at the core of misandrist society, the root of the merciless female control and exploitation of men. It has been raised in various forms by Warren Farrell, Eugene August, and Herb Goldberg, but needs more exposure, analysis, and resistance.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Could not have said it better myself.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points31 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

It's easy to say as a non-Swede, but a great experiment would be just to give feminists exactly what they want somewhere. So all men resign from government. Then nothing can be blamed on men as a group any more. Although we all know that The Patriarchy would still be responsible for each and every thing that goes wrong, so there's really no point.

[–]UncouthBarbarian 22 points23 points24 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Almost relevant

Dutch survivor experiment

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That reminds me of The Island in the UK (another survival program/competition) where the female team got ill a bit into the series by drinking stagnant water from some infested swamp. The medical team was called in. They saw what the problem was, stopped them drinking the water and treated them (as well as giving them water). The female team went on to win the series. Even though they should really all have been dead.

Now they mix the sexes after a few episodes. I don't know if the incidents are related.

It would be a horror show, if only for the fact that so many competent leaders would leave the country to the wolves.

First a popular Female Swedish Singer and now a Swedish runner-up for Woman of the Year.

Seems to be open season on men in that country.

[–]poorpersonality 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She pays homage to Zara Larsson in the article because she has a fine career despite all the sexual harassment - which ends when a woman is over 60 (as she is). I don't know why she added that.

This vile Feminist is a professor in the biggest Finnish university and that is a shame. People like she should be kept out of academia the same way as racists are.

[–]Mallago 10 points11 points12 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Actually, in a way it would be great if something like this happened- men would suddebly be forced to recognize feminism for what it is. It would bring things to an instant head, and I think the faster feminism is "fully revealed", so to speak, the faster society rejects it.

What I can't understand is how it's gotten so far already without people noticing. Sometime's I'll overheard conversations between groups of men who are democratic/feminist leaning, and it's just mind-blowing- how can you possible be so deluded??

[–]chadwickofwv 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But we absolutely cannot let this happen in a country with nuclear weapons. The crazy bitches would end up using them.

[–]Dreams_In_Digital 9 points10 points11 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

From vikings to suicidal globalists. Sad.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, go ahead and do it. But don't just ban the male TV personalities. Be complete and thorough. Ban the camera guys, the audio engineers, the editors, the maintenance guys, the IT guys, the electricians and the security guys.

Then go ahead and watch TV. And you didn't even ban the guys working in the TV factories.

Swedish government and Islam - both extremely sexist and incompatible with 21st century Western civilisation.

[–]2001Daytona500 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I'll have you know that I'm Muslim and that's wrong, I'm Muslim and it's not everyone who is like that. That's like saying America is racist because of only few people.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'd argue many muslims, seemingly yourself included, are fine with western civilisation.

The Quaran though, is backwards, and does not fit in with modern society.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The Bible is backwards and does not fit in with modern society either.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I agree, that is also a barbaric and disgusting book.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hopefully you'll concur that modernisation of the Middle East has been hindered by Western-led interference and siding with regressive/controllable monarchies such as the Saudis. It wasn't too long ago that our countries were a lot more puritanical than they are now and people were being executed for blasphemy and even now in some places marrying somebody of the "wrong" Christian sect is a no no.

It would be relatively easy for a superpower to have scuppered our elections and hindered our economic progress as their own people prosper and have a reduced need for religion.

So I'm not a fan of singling out Muslims or the Qur'an, since we have look inwards at our own countries' roles in stifling progress in that region and allowing the regressive monarchs to fund and spread fundamentalism. All whilst providing the orphans and pain required via coups, wars and drone strikes etc that create people who want revenge. Who just happen to be Muslim.

[–]WineKing 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Notice that I said Islam, not Muslims.

Sometimes I wonder how many of these sorts of statements are genuine and how many are simply attempts at manufacturing controversy. This case for example, it is unlikely that the desire for no men in television will be realised, so is it just "for clicks" as it were or is it so then there is a confected "issue" where there are too many (read more than none) men in Swedish tv?

[–]Red_Shambhala[S] 14 points15 points16 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm more concerned about the general anti-male sentiment. I also doubt that I will see a legal ban on men on Swedish TV in my lifetime, but there is more to a culture than just its legal parts; you can very well have legal equality and yet be oppressed, and yet be affected by the anti-male sentiment of a culture, of professors, teachers, bosses, and so on.

[–]4man 8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree, particularly because the anti-male sentiment is seen as progress, as acceptable and as somehow empowering.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

This case for example, it is unlikely that the desire for no men in television will be realised, so is it just "for clicks"

There lies the double-standard. Tim Hunt makes a harmless, self-depreciating joke about women in the science lab and his career is forever tarnished and character tainted. Meanwhile, women like this can make an offensive, snarky, bigoted remark about men as a group and they'll receive rapturous "You go, GRRL!" applause.

[–]4man 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I agree with your point. This is why I think men need to actively develop in-group bias; start with adults and extend it to boys. Make sure women do not get favourable treatment from men. It might sound separatist but I think it is an important step.

I know Tim Hunt went through media hell, the outcome though was gratifying, particularly the fate of the lying feminist who falsely represented his statements.

[–]chadwickofwv 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

What happened there? I don't remember hearing about anything happening to that bitch.

[–]4man 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Tim Hunt

[–]chadwickofwv 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Good to see he came out on top. Sad that the bitch wasn't punished though. He should have taken everything she had in court. This was in the UK after all, libel laws would have made that easy there.

[–]sharthappens 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People aren't going to take us seriously of we keep referencing Breitbart and the daily mail (no self respecting intelligent person should either )

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

People aren't going to take us seriously of we keep referencing Breitbart and the daily mail (no self respecting intelligent person should either )

I ask this of anyone who criticizes sources like Breitbard and Daily Mail:

Do you know of any other news outlets willing to speak against this form of bigotry?

[–]jonnytechno 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Are you suggesting that as long as someone sounds like they support our cause we should align with them?

We separate ourselves from RedPillers for a good reason. If the KKK issued a statement supporting mens rights, would that be a good direction for us to go? Should we really be entertaining those we know to be immoral simply because they say something you think supports your aim

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you suggesting that as long as someone sounds like they support our cause we should align with them?

No.

I asked you if there are any other media sources out there speaking up against this form of bigotry. You think Daily Mail and Breitbart are problematic, fine. List alternatives.

Go on. I'm waiting.

[–]jonnytechno -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm at work and would I link to particular articles but off the top of my head I'd say, "the independent", "the guardian", BBC Etc, I appreciate they all have at some point or another also said hurtful thing regarding our cause but on the whole tgeir standard of reporting is far better than Breitbart and the daily mail

Edit: you say your not supping them simply because they align with our views yet your defending against my comment about them lacking credibility and respect, please explain why?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Lol but NPR is just fine?

[–]jonnytechno 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh please, you're really justifying the Dailly Mail and Breitbart as respectable news sources? Perhaps come back with some logical reasoning instead of attempting a pithy phrase with no real relevance
