She described the former teacher as someone with a “big heart” and a need to be loved . . . "I think she was driven by being in love with him"

This is incredible to me.

Genetics is a thing. Just because the Nazis went to a crazy extreme with their genetics programs and did some terrible things, that doesn't mean that society has to now jump to the opposite extreme and say "there's no such thing as bad genes".

If someone has genes that guarantee that they and any offspring will be 400 pounds and unable to walk, have a huge array of extremely serious health problems and increased mortality risk from all causes, and extremely unattractive to everyone of every race and culture, common sense says that those genes should not be passed on.

Now if someone were saying "anyone who crosses the border into the overweight category should immediately be forcibly castrated", then that would be extreme and Naziish / eugenics. But that's entirely different from saying "genetically 400 pound automatic-cripples should understand that it would be unethical for them to create a human life doomed to the same horrible suffering, and should be humanely discouraged from doing so".

With a thought that they knew what was right for all people. Saying that it shouldn't exsist is differen't than saying it couldn't. There will come a day where people can pick and choose traits for their children and that should always remain a choice and be respected in law and in society as a choice.

It is kind of like the butterfly effect. If one person was never fat would they have chosen sports over programming and then society lost an important technilogical breakthrough? This is the problem with trying to play god. You can't. No one person has the foresight to understand how people who appear to be broken in some way aren't actually broken. In a literal sense yes being over 400 lbs creates health problems but withough research into those problems (or any condition for that matter) how can medical science progress? How many times has something that can help one condition ended up helping others?

There are more personal aspects as well. The people around those who are aflicted with...something...learn important lessons about caring, autonomy, respecting differences etc.

So many people in this thread talk about the stupidest people breeding. Are they gods? How do they know they are stupid? Because there were poor? How many great minds have risen from povety? How many people that have helped shape our world were also poorly planed or not planed pregnancies?

The way people work, societies work and even genetics isn't straight forward. Value isn't obvious nor can what value is be determined by one group of people to enforce it upon another group of people with an entirely different idea on what value is. On what traits are good or bad.

Everyone dreams of a world where no one suffers but the hard truth is that suffering has value both literal like medical inovations and metaphysical like empathy. To think someone or a group of people can know what would work for all. It's hubris.

There wouldn't be a problem if obese people who insisted on having kids stuck to only having kids with other obese people. But that's not what's happening. Obese people have the same biological drives as everyone else, and so obese guys seek out healthy-weight ladies.

Ladies aren't repulsed as much as guys are by a particular level of obesity, and ladies are extremely attracted to height, shoulder width, and jaw width. So we have all these obese-but-tall/broad-shouldered/square-jawed guys getting into exclusive relationships with the healthy-weight ladies and having kids with them, and preventing healthy-weight guys from having kids with these healthy-weight ladies. Obviously this has the long-term effect of increasing obesity in the general population.

As the general population becomes more and more obese, there are fewer and fewer acceptable mates for guys. This causes more and more unhappy and discontent men. History shows that large groups of unhappy and discontent men lead to all sorts of bad things (such as war).

In addition, it makes women on-average more unhappy. Obviously it makes the obese ladies unhappy, since they're unwanted and have serious health problems. Then, the ladies who are still of a healthy weight get a disproportionate amount of attention from all the guys, because demand far outstrips supply for a healthy lady mate. As a result, many ladies are overwhelmed by all this attention, and start perceiving all this attention as a negative thing, and even start to go off-the-deep-end and believe all this attention is hatred. Feminists really would be doing themselves a big favor by helping society to lose weight, since it would reduce one of their biggest complaints.

taxes parole eligibility for her is 2 years without programs with programs she can shorten her time even more. Age isn't just a number, it does have significance even if it is just a rough approximation of how mature or smart somebody is. We can all agree that a 9 year old saying they want to fuck a 40 year old isn't good, because we know that a 9 year old isn't capable of the reasoning or foresight of somebody in their 20s or even teens. And I do agree that there are some 43 year olds who are utterly idiotic and some 13 year olds who are probably smarter than them. But those cases are extremely rare. If many 13 year olds can show the same maturity, foresight, and intelligent consideration of their actions that are more common (not common overall, but more common) with a person in their early 20s, then I could see at least some argument to letting them drink or smoke. But again, the vast majority of people are not that smart until they are older.

One solution could be to introduce a test or requirement that would permit somebody under 18/21 to be able to make choices like that, but I can't imagine any test that would demonstrate an adequate level of maturity and preparation to be approved to make serious choices like drinking or smoking.

While there are cases where teens might be capable of making a choice to disown themselves from their parents, and so are capable of showing some level of capable foresight and intelligent consideration for their actions, that is vastly different than being capable of making choices that will cause very extreme damage to their physical and mental health.

Would you be amazed that there is a male teacher? ... Really?

Why people are rightfully upset when a women seduces a child is that she is supposed to be objective. Her objectivity is put into question if she is not able to keep her urges at bay. Do you want to live in a sociey where grades are determined by social value?

And last but not least how do you get the impression that it happens in thousands based on vera alone? I hope that you agree that we should make sure this doesn't happen that often. And how do we go about and do that. Well I'll give you a hint it starts with P and stops with rison.

As far as imprisoning her would hurt the boy. Yeah this further demonstrates as being unfit to be a teacher since they serve as role models and therefore should now what is illegal or not. Sure they won't need to have a PhD in law but knowing that sex with minors is illegal is a good start.

So either she hurts the boy by being a totally incompetent teacher or by risking the relationship by going to jail. She should've been aware of this and also she should've told the kid. So for him it's a good thing really as she has proved her self to be undisciplined and a liar or stupid.
