Romney won more of the white vote than Trump, yet Romney lost. White men didn't put Trump over the top. Women, independents, and significant groups of minorities did, aided by a lack of enthusiasm for Clinton. Nevertheless, people will blame white men. Pretty amazing.

If you live in a country that has a white majority... it might not be a good political move to have your party run on a platform of "fuck you white men, all you do is rape and oppress and you should just fucking die already". If anyone makes this type of argument, there is a super liberal source that refutes it (the New York Times). It's fascinating. My comment earlier about Romney may be wrong. According to these exit polls, Trump got 5% more of the male vote, of which only 1% more of the white vote than Romney. Trump got between 8 to 11 percent more of the non-white vote than Romney.

Clinton only got 1 percent more of the female vote compared to Obama. Interesting.
