I'm not surprised this happened, as I've stated many times, the mainstream and generically named subreddits out there have been co-opted by SJW type mods.

We were having a similar discussion about this AMA on the Ancap subreddit, except the people there were talking about race and of course the conclusion was because of the way they've made the rules up they're going to make it pretty much impossible to talk about race beyond only ever agreeing with the SJW narrative and it will be heavily politicised.

Did they give any reason why it was removed? I am in STEM, and I hear you bro! All these women-only grants and "we specifically welcome application by underrepresented solcial groups such as women, ethnic minorities, etc. ...". It really frustrates me. Good job for speaking up!

There was a social "science" article posted under Science about how parents today spend more time with their kids than parents 50 years ago (yeah, no shit Sherlock) and roughly 75% of the comments were removed. I'm guessing it had a lot to do with them questioning the validity of the data and whether or not the study was peer reviewed--like what is required in science.

the military is proof that women don't want jobs if it poses a risk to your life. and in sports that entail assault like boxing... although rousey is taking a stand for women.

women don't always get hired for physical labor a necessity for running things that build the industrial field.
