There is difference between shame and guilt emotionally—guilt is feeling bad because you think you did something wrong; shame is feeling bad because you know other people think you did something wrong.

Ask your friend what he thinks he did wrong. What did he do? Not his ancestors—he might feel ashamed of what his ancestors did, but that's not guilt—what did he do?

I'm willing to bet what he's feeling is shame, not guilt, and that the reason he may be confusing the two is because he's internalizing the blame others are placing on him. This is not dissimilar to the ways I've heard some black people feel when they hear stories about how most violent crimes are committed by blacks—they internalize a view of themselves that society is pushing on them, and that internalization pits them against themselves, changing their actual self-image in a really unhealthy way.

The population of African descent in: Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and U.S.A. as compared to the thickness of the lines on that map. Why does the one of the smallest lines have such a huge population of African descent relatively? White guilt with respect to the African slave trade makes as much sense as heaping blame for the holocaust on Romania.

As a lefty its our greatest failure that we've helped create a generation of men and white men in particular that have such strong internalized mysandry and racism against white men, that far too many, including myself have been damaged by the left dumping responsiblity for what other white men did on all white men, and people act like that won't have a mental health effect on at least white men, especially ones with high levels of empathy and altruism who internalize it.

Please ask him the following questions.

1) If a white man is robbed by a black man, is he justified in disliking all black people and treating them poorly?

2) Are all black people guilty, and deserve to feel shame, because of the actions of a small number of black people who commit crimes?

3) Isn't it a fucked up viewpoint to group all black people together like that, as the experiences of a penniless Haitian immigrant woman, a rich black New York lawyer, and a middle-class half black half Hispanic teenager are NOTHING alike?

4) So then why do you feel shame for the actions of white people who are nothing like you? Why are you feeling guilty for crimes committed by terrible people just because your skin pigmentation is similar?

It is really fucking dumb, you'd be surprised how your otherwise quite intelligent and rational friends can even be infected with it as well. A friend i know quite well seems to be having one of those classic breakdowns where she's going "Not all feminists" and I'm of course sitting there going "Yeah, of course, not all of them, but a hell of a lot".

I cited Gregory Elliots case as to how mental these feminists can be and she decided to blame the Canadian legal system for it. In the end I pretty much said to her if none of the people there she knew was reacting this way then she really needed to go and have a real argument with them and you could tell she couldn't believe that people within feminism would behave this way.

She'll have her "Wtf, what is with these nutters I'm surrounded by?" moment eventually I guess, because the crazy is all spilling out into real life now, but it's not just men that are going through this sort of thing when it comes to these Misandrist-Feminists running around saying kill all white men and so on.

It's not just you, even I'm having to put up wih it in some cases, people I know usually tend to know better than to pick a fight with me about it or they have male friends and so on so they can sympathise a lot easier.

It's divide and rule and misdirection.

Its absolutely true that in the 1800s the anglo saxon white "Laissez Faire" ruling class were using people, including white people as their slaves. I'm white and they commit a genocide here. Read a Charles Dickens novel to see what they were doing to people before we got the power to vote for some rights and a larger share of the pie.

Its absolutely true its still going on, look at corporations using captives in the american prison system as slaves. Shopping for cheap labour around the world in a globalized system, bringing it in from Latin America.

Making average white men the targets for blame and guilt is the scam, it directs people away from the real problems.

Another impressive bit of brainwashing of the dumb masses and this is targeted at people that identify as right is to get them to advocate against themselves having collective bargaining power to protect themselves and their standard of living from the powers that be.
