Yes, this is absolutely the political climate we live in.

When you create a narrative that every man is a sexual predator just waiting for an opportunity, men become hyper-cautious of situations where they could be falsely accused of being a predator.

Best thing to do when you see a kid in trouble is to yell out, "Hey, whose fucking kid is this?" No pedo would call attention to himself that way.

It is getting bad. A while back, i was in a store and some kid was looking longingly up at a toy that was too high up for him. His mom was there, but she was busy with other kids. I swear, as i asked him which toy he wanted and grabbed it for him, i thought, "Shit, i must look like a pedo right now!"

Sick. Sad. World.

I was shooting video on my mobile of waves breaking on the beach on a cold winter day, near the waters edge, with my phone pointing out to sea. Half a minute in and a child walks into the shot and starts splashing in the foam (it was a very windy day). After a further ten or so seconds I felt uncomfortable, and, lo and behold, stopped filming and turned round to see its mother glaring at me, and as I walked off, she started filming me with her mobile. Now it may have been innocent on her part, but I doubt it. Ironically, the waves were so big and the wind so strong that her child was at risk of death by playing in the waves (the local paper actually said this the next day as other parents had done the same). Yet she seemed more concerned with her paranoia about me, as a man.

No one wants to be the "bad guy," but the single best way of stopping this hysteria is to point out that at least one third of pedophiles are women. This according to recent research by a female academic whose name escapes me. Given the very low rate of male reportage rates for female-on-male sexual assault, it would not surprise me if the number was half.

More and more we are discovering that crimes we associate with males are conducted by females with equal or greater frequency. This includes domestic violence, pedophilia and even serial murder (their victims are usually children and the elderly).

Feminists compound the problem by demonizing male sexuality and portraying males as predators. If they were consistent about their alleged belief in equality they would be the first ones drawing attention to female crimes in order to counterbalance the "women are wonderful" effect.

Reminds me of something that happened to me last weekend, i was pulling into the court where my house is, and on an adjacent patch of grass there's 4 children, 2 girls, 3 boys, and one of the girls is getting bullied from what i could see. my window was down in my car as i passed to pull into my driveway and i hear this pop/snap sound, thought i'd just run over a bottle cap or something, i take a glance out of my mirror to make sure it's nothing big and i noticed one of the girls is just laying there flat on her face, the kids running off. I was too fucking afraid to pick this girl up and make sure she got help, so instead i went inside my house and phoned the police/paramedic. I felt horrible but it's just not worth the risk nowadays.

Its was a very sad situation. I am just glad my gf was there to help.

I lost interest in responding in the other thread, but I would like to add that the two original guys we're questioned heavily when the cops came.

And they we're a lot more comfortable helping once a women was there.

I would be careful about it but I would help the kid. I could live with defending myself from false accusations. I could never live with myself if some kid froze to death and I did nothing.

I get that it sucks to be treated like that, but don't let other people's biases change you.

A friend and I were waiting at a Bus-stop when a child pulled some faces at my friend, my friend reacted by pulling some faces back, harmless right? Not to this child's Tyrannosaur of a mother who rounded on my friend and called him every Pedophile related name in the book for the remaining few minutes before our bus came and we escaped. No amount of reasoning with her from either of us could sway her opinion in the slightest. All that just for pulling a face.. I don't blame the men mentioned in that post in the slightest.

I find myself as a man unlikely to help any kids because the risk of being branded a nonce, but I also find myself watching other men with children to make sure he's not stealing the kid. society is fucked thanks to people thinking of the children!

Come on guys... I know it's bad out there but the way to combat it is to take the high road. Show them that men can be caring and helpful. The more people that see positive acts of kindness the more this crazy ass attitude will be destroyed.

I would have called the police and stated where you are and that there is a child by herself and you want them on the phone when you make contact with the child. You can put it on speakerphone. Speak to the child the and give her your coat if needed. Wait there with the child until the parent finally shows up or the police come. Problem solved and society sees another man as a good person. When the parent shows up they'll be mad for sure, but they'll have learned a hard lesson as the police were involved with their child being unattended for however long they were gone.
