Why isn't Men's Rights on the front page of Reddit?

Feminism has been running a sort of protection racket for a few decades now whereby they demand that corporations and institutions give them power or money under threat of labeling the institution "anti-woman" or under threat of spurious legal charges of sexual harassment.

It's very common so I'm sure you're familiar with it happening and to a certain extent you're probably just joking with this question. However you may not realize how widespread and deliberate it can be. In Reddit's case being what? about 75% male, they are told they can be labeled as a misogynist web site. Perhaps accused of promoting rape or something (pick any pronographic subreddit to highlight here). So emphasizing feminism and women is their insurance against such charges and the pay off that feminists get for threatening flak at the same time.

Reddit gets to say, "Were not sexist, look we even promoted this woman's sub just to give women more reason to sign up." Feminists get to demand more shit and break the rules about stuff like brigading and doxxing without being called on it, because applying the rules to mere "women" would cause flak against Reddit.

But the important takeaway here is this isn't just Reddit but every institution in our society under attack like this. GamerGate is an example of the way feminists are increasingly targeting the last few institutions or groups that are not explicitly sexist towards women. Whether it's local police forces, hospitals, conventions, corporations, the media, celebrities or parts of the government itself all institutions must constantly capitulate to feminist interests or risk being accused of being anti-woman as the Gamers were.

How and why is this clear-cut case of gender discrimination not more of an issue?

Well a lot of people here are libertarians so they tend to feel that non-governmental institutions should be allowed to be as fucked up as they like. That small government approach is really biting them on the ass if you ask me.

I don't want to have /r/mensrights as a default, but I do think it's sexist to have TwoX a default but not a similar sub like /r/OneY. It is a clear bias done to promote a certain viewpoint, ie feminism. Especially given how heavily the TwoX mods censor comments that are critical of feminist views

As i've been told on this account and others when asking similar questions, the answer is no one cares about mens rights. Shit I am 28 and just started to consciously realize that there was some mass inequality between genders and it sure as hell wasn't favoring men.

The same reason women's rights material was ignored and buried back when it first got going. People were afraid of it.

They can claim its because of hatred but no movement is free of hate so thats a bullshit dodge.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not so sure I want it there. Discussion here should be mainly for people who agree with men's rights causes, and putting us on the front page will mean constantly having to defend our beliefs in the comments without discussing things that are more interesting.

Reddit is not a government agency. They are free to run their site however they see fit. They can ban whatever they want and promote whatever they want.
