Phil started his show in my area, way back when. He had quite the reputation for sleeping around on his wife and being a pretty crappy husband. His persona is just as fake as any pro wrestler's is, whether he believes what he says or not.

Phil does something that most people don't understand...he plays the Devil's Advocate. He knows what Ayn wants to get across, and he intentionally provokes good answers out of her. Sometimes his real feelings come out, but he knows what he's doing.

The woman was a psychopath who went out of her way to make selfishness fashionable. She was also a hypocrite who deplored altruism -- until she needed welfare money to treat her cancer. Easily one of the most egregious women of the 20th century.

I would not associate mensrights with Ayn Rand. That she in one instance appeared to be against feminists doesnt mean that she would support mens rights (hint she wouldnt, she would say the exact same things about us) and it doesnt mean we should use her in any way to reinforce or represent our message.

After all both you and Hitler would agree that puppies and kittens are cute but you wouldnt have Hitler appear in a RSPCA advertisement now would you.

Also Im fairly sure many Mras are also feminists who lile me choose to focus on those left behind by feminism ie men. Many Mras may agree with the basis of feminism while thinking its the modern version thats lost its way when it blames men and claims ONLY women faced oppression not men when we know it was both.
