You have my sympathy. I had a similar experience on Facebook when I pointed out it was Return of Kings advocating boycotting Mad Max, and not MRAs. I was called a man-child for pointing out the error... I decided just let the radicals scare away any moderate support they may have, since their arguments usually consist of ad hominem and appeals to authority (theirs, usually).

i was listening to karen straughan last night and she made a good point. there is no point arguing with radical feminists by themselves, as no matter what you say, they wont change their mind. Instead when you engaged with radfems, do so when there are other people around, as its them you can convince with logic rather then radical feminists. And i kinda agree with her.

Feminist brainwashing begins at a young age. Women are basically raised to be angry and full of hate, fed distorted versions of history that portray virtually all women as suffering some kind of brutal enslavement. Not that surprising really, and one of the reasons I dread having daughters (and probably never will).

My advice isn't to try and convince other people, the ones who Will be convinced will do so on their own schedule and the ones who Won't be convinced will only take longer. Look around to see how big the problem is and grab hold of that, drive up web traffic or encourage conversation online and in places it doesn't normally reach. When the MassMedia finally starts covering the whole ordeal you'll be in a better position to tell your friends etc about it all

The person you argued with is clearly projecting their own flaws onto you - accusing you of being hateful, and so on. Call them out on it. Point out how ridiculous it is to say "equality means ensuring that everyone is treated the same under the law, except for men".

Explain to a fish that they are actually in water, see how that goes.

Just as the world is renewed every generation, it will hopefully become more refined. My parents though homosexuals having rights was stupid. I support gay rights. We can only hope that as time goes on the world will realize how stupid the popular feminists are. Sooner or later the idea of girls always being the victim will evaporate. Hopefully.

If equality was easy to get we would have it already. It's not, which is why we don't.

But we value it so we work for it. What makes it hard isn't that we have to lift heavy weights or write many lines of code. It's that we have to get people benefiting from the inequality to see it.

If you want to make you troubles look easy, study Mandela, MLK, or any number of others who worked for equality. You'll learn what works and put your challenges in perspective.
