I honestly don't "feel" butchered. I simply have no way of knowing what sex would feel like with my foreskin.

Infants become permanently scarred to the point of dysfunction and even die from this butchering, so my personal experience is simply irrelevant.

The doctors at the hospital convinced my parents to butcher me. My older brother was left intact. My mom tells me they took me to the hospital several times because of infection and also because I refused to breast feed. She also said I refused to look at her for two weeks and felt like she violated my trust. Last year I looked into research and found that my reaction wasn't untypical.

Yes. They fucked it up the first time and had to do it a second time. This has cost me a lot of sensitivity and made me have a very unusual member.

I don't feel butchered, but I do feel that I missed out a little bit (no pun intended). I don't feel anger towards my parents, as my father had the same done to him.

My dick is crooked though, not sure if this is due to circumcision.. but it REALLY bothered me as a child. I can't help but wonder what it would be like. The grass is always greener, as they say. It is most definitely something that bothers me from time to time. I try not to think about it, honestly.

Nah, you're not the only one. I feel butchered. It makes me really angry. Here's what I'm trying to do to feel better about it.

Most days of the week though, I wear a foreskin stretcher. I've been doing this for only 11 months, but i can already get 1/2 flaccid coverage. I feel less butchered with every millimeter I regrow. I don't feel butchered, mutilated, deformed, or otherwise "wrong." However, my experience doesn't speak for everyone. I firmly oppose any unnecessary medical procedures with permanent effects being done to anyone who cannot consent to them.

I do, however, resent that such an important decision about my body was made for me, for flimsy hygienic and religious reasons. It's much like, and possibly worse than, if my parents had decided to tattoo my chest when I was born. I'd probably be comfortable with it having grown up with it, but I'm still stuck with their decision on my body.

Not at all. The more I find out about the procedure the more appalled I am. Sometimes, I just want to grab at my genitals in this strange sort of attempt at protecting them. My testicles and scrotum are more sensitive than my penis by a considerable margin. That can't be correct, it just can't be.

Some are starting to suspect it might even cause things like autism (obviously not 100%); I know there is a considerable amount of theory regarding how such an obviously invasive procedure might affect someone later in life. Circumcision trauma and all that. They used to say that "it doesn't hurt, the baby didn't even cry," but then some research came out and it turns out that the baby went into shock. Good times. Dr. Kellogg, etc. etc.

My doctor was not brutal, as far as I can tell. But my religious, expressive, sexual, gender, and privacy rights were violated.

I believe he's dead now, so I cannot confront him, or else I would.

Why it isn't illegal? Because men are disposable and nobody cares about their health, well-being and dignity...that's the sad truth men have to accept to start a measurable change.

From a physiological point of view it doesn't really matter as long as it wasn't botched and your glans was cut off or something: an orgasm happens in the brain.

I feel butchered. It gets worse at times and other times is goes away. Have been restoring though and that's a fascinating experience. You can't get the nerves back (with current technology), and you also can't reverse the developmental problems it introduces (with current technology), but you can have a foreskin if you want.

You're definitely not the only one, bro. I don't feel that way, but I commented on this topic before and was attacked by men who think like you and feel very strongly about it.

To answer your question, I think it's legal because it was fairly common practice and has roots in religion. Also, and I may be misinformed, but I feel like this outrage concerning foreskin is reasonably new/modern. Feel free to provide me with information otherwise, this is just my impression having not actually looked into it.

It will likely remain legal for the same reason breast augmentations and calf implants are, at the very least, if not for religious freedom reasons.

In closing, it sucks if you're having disfunctionality or are displeased with yourself aesthetically. Perhaps child circumcision would be outlawed on the basis of need for consent.
