So wait, not only was there NO evidence that her prom date had raped and assaulted her, but there was actually quite a bit of evidence pointing to the fact that he hadn't and that the accusation was a complete fabrication...and yet the boy was still expelled from school?

Ugh!

You know, if they want people to take rape seriously, they need to do a hell of a lot better job of protecting young men from these loonies. It undermines confidence in the way rape is handled when people see innocent boys put through hell -- and the false accuser is allowed to leave the jurisdiction and even head home to Europe.

Why the hell did this have to go all the way to the Montana Supreme Court just to have charges reinstated? Does anyone know? She hasn't even been convicted yet. What was the fucking issue here?

Kudos to the cops for pressing charges against her. Though, I expect this would not have happened if they had not found additional evidence that she was a serial offender. The general M.O. of police in these cases is to let women making false accusations scott-free, that is unless they feel the woman "wasted police time" by not naming a specific person. If they do name a specific person who is dragged through the mud or imprisoned, generally law enforcement doesn't give a fuck.
