Context: I'm in my late 20s, average looking, short (5'6), far from rich, got some issues...
I think I've had a pretty decent dating/sex life. I've had 4 serious relationships, a few hookups, and I'm now married.
I think a lot of men just try too hard and focus too much on apps.
All of my relationships and hookups have been women I already knew (classmates, friends, coworkers, friends of friends etc). The attraction is never instant, being average means I take some time to grow on people before they realize they're attracted to me.
It's usually the same pattern... at first I'm just a friend, some guy they know, etc. We click in some way, maybe a similar sense of humor or hobby or even hate the same things... we talk more, joke a lot, spend more time together I'm groups and eventually one on one. Alcohol enters the picture. Someone makes a move.
Getting to know women in real life is by far the best way to have success if you're average.
I tried the apps, zero success, just rude rejections and ghosts.

I’d like to see him as well as the girls he’s dated.
I could bang an obese girl if I really wanted to.

And high bodycount women. I knew this 5’4 guy who was confident and had the energy to talk to a bunch of people. Literally made everyone feel positive about themselves. He ended up with a stripper lol

Yup, the only non obese girl who was interested in me, former hooker and crazy to boot.
Its not that short guys are incels, it's just that being celibate is better than the options available for nothing more than being born with wrong genetics lol

When a redditor says he's average looking, it's safe to assume he's below 5/10, dating his looksmatch or even below.

Compromised consent. He's a rapist by law.

“Someone makes a move”. I’ve had women make the first move because of alcohol. Guess they’re rapists by law too
[–]Lifecantrulysuck 4 points5 points6 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Women can't rape by UK law.
[–]theliontamer37 0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
But they can be charged with sexual assault

In theory.

This contradicts the advice women and bluep men give me irl and on the internet.

Sub-5 manages to ascend and posts blue p*lled nonsense. At least a lot of the comments are black p*lled.

Lol, these comments. If you're fat, you get a fat gf. Angus was just a movie. You're not getting an IG model.

Yeah that's pretty much a similar story to literally every short dude I've ever known. They did fine with women. They were cool friends. Yeah there are definitely disadvantages to being shorter but in my experience a lot of them are navigating those disadvantages like the guy in the OP.

Women legit tell me to do the opposite
Because dating or wanting to hook up with your friends is creepy.
[–]TermAggravating8043 -3 points-2 points-1 points (3 children) | Copy Link
It’s not if your not creepy
[–]ItoshiSae10 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Nah they specifically say what i do. Regardless of the person because by their logic you never considered her a friend
[–]TermAggravating8043 -2 points-1 points0 points (1 child) | Copy Link
You are if your a actually her friend, if your just a dude hanging round long enough for her to be desperate (and she knows it) your not actually her friend
[–]ItoshiSae10 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Again. What i said is what women on reddit and irl tell me.
[–]TermAggravating8043 -1 points0 points1 point (0 children) | Copy Link
Same, they own it so you can’t use it against them,

Right? My husband's on the shorter side and has a receding hairline and he never had trouble getting women before me. He had multiple longer-term relationships as well as flings.
[–]ItoshiSae10 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
This doesnt prove anything and the point still stands that women consider men who try to accomplish friends to lovers as creepy
[–]No-Neighborhood-5851 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't think he's incorrect. It's just that men like us aren't average, no matter how hard we try
[–]Ok-Bell3376BlackPill 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah. But I'm not average
