The other day I was watching a video on YouTube about portrait painting. This random woman was painting a portrait of herself and talking about the process; pretty banal video. This woman was late 20's (maybe even early 30's), pretty average looking but I think she was Swedish or something so she had an attractive phenotype I guess -blue eyes, etc.
Basically just a regular non-obese woman that looked alright (like a 5.5/10 at best).
Dudes in the comments were going crazy. Not only were they talking about how "beautiful" she was, they were also gassing up her personality and talking about how amazing she is (as if that's something you can deduce from a 10 minute video where she exclusively talks about how to mix paint lmao). One dude even said "this is the type of woman you ask for her hand in marriage" -what kind of insane simp ass comment is that? On a benign art video as well.

Another example, I was watching a chess video of two club players playing against each other. A kind of cute girl was playing some random guy. Again, insane amount of simping in the comments, just borderline worship, all for some chick that was a 6/10.

I've seen these type of simp ass comments on Twitter and Instagram, but now I'm starting to see these dudes pop up on random YouTube videos that just happen to contain a woman. I don't remember things being like this even a couple of years ago, let alone before that. Dudes are outright worshiping any half way attractive woman, wherever she might pop up, it's getting out of control.
