It's facts, but such a rational mindset makes life boring. How can you justify bullying, judging, hurting and killing people if we don't have free will and total responsibility over our lives?

The unfortunate truth is that people actually enjoy cruelty. Whether it's sadism or schadenfreude, It's actually one of the greatest pleasures that a human can experience. The only thing that prevents us from indulging in that pleasure all the time is empathy for others. But by belieivng in free will and waving away people's character flaws as "bad choices" as opposed to an outcome of a complex chain of natural and environmental developments, you allow yourself to comepletely shut off your feelings of empathy for certain people, allowing you to take pleasure in making them suffer.

Belief in free will makes people less empathetic.

Read through some of it, yeah, people are unlikely to change after a certain age and everything barring some 1 in hundreds or thousands incident rate comes down to early environment and genes.

Growing social circle doesnt happen after college years or that timeframe. Only the last paragraph is useful. If you dont have a social circle you’re screwed dating wise anyways

Difficult things take an amount of effort that most people are not willing to put forth. It is not that it is so hard that no amount of effort will resolve it. It is entirely possible.
