Oh they will say they don’t want your money and want to be friends after it’s finalized. But keep it in your head this is a business transaction nothing more. When money and assets are involved it’s full out war. Attitudes will change. No more Mr nice guy. Don’t give an inch because they won’t. Be firm and fair. Don’t let your guard down at all. Of course when kids are involved things change a bit. This is my experience so far. They will zap you for every dime in your pocket and future earnings. What would you pay for the price of peace?
