If my inlaws had been involved, I'd still be in court today. We actually had to remind my wife that she couldn't bring an audience of friends and family to the mediation.

Meh something similar is happening over here too. My ex hasn't even bought a car in her life and she's in her mid 30's. Clear pattern of being an irresponsible person with no life goals other than to be a parasite to her parents, then me, now back to her parents and her paramour. Her parents are heavily involved in "attempting" to help her cover up her affair and also screw me on custody with our daughter but it's too little too late. They have huge legal issues of their own they'll have to answer for.

I had to cut her dad out of the whole process, we basically married the same woman, but problem was, he was unable to keep his cool and was only exagerrating the situation

Even though she is no better, at least now she has to take responsibility of communication.
