Need your collective intelligence to get some guidance on this issue.

Short detail: Kid(2yr), Child Support all paid on time ($1.5K), Divorce Finalized 05/2023. State: TX

I'm debating whether to go back to Court for 50/50 or should I wait till Ex runs out of the settlement money and ready to negotiate?

Ideally, I would actually like to have my kiddo full-time. Not trying to cut off the Ex but I'm confident that I can do better than my Ex for my kiddo. The reason for this question is that I think my Ex would slowly drift away if the monetary incentive was taken away.

What should be my strategy here. Slow incremental procession or go in for the kill when she is ready to get to the table?
