This is a long story and I'm looking for some help. Here's a brief summary. June 1st wife says she wants a divorce after 10 1/2 years of marriage saying it's because of the way things were in past years, I find out days later that she is having an affair. We got into an argument and I hit the wall out of frustration. The sheriff's dept was eventually called and I was arrested and charged with 4th degree assault and x3 child endangerment and given a no contact order with any of the "victims" (wife and three daughters). That instantly made me homeless and I stayed that way for seven weeks. She drained the bank account while I was in jail ($2,000) leaving me $100. I get paid once a month from my job on the 1st. I'm also a disabled veteran receiving VA benefits which aren't paid until the 1st. I wasn't legally allowed to go to my own house to even retrieve clothing let alone everything I'd ever worked for (18yrs worth of me). We had started texting about a month later and most things were okay except this guy that she had brought into our lives, including our children. When things didn't go her way over text and she got a flat tire she reported me to the police and got a hearing for an order of protection. I had to consent to but deny her allegation's due to this criminal case I had pending. Despite all of that about a month later we started texting again and I had come to a weak spot in my life being homeless, missing birthdays and holidays and losing ground at my place of employment (I wasn't the same employee I was before this started). I wasn't very pleasant to speak with to say the least. She turns me in again and I bond out of jail. Despite that, about a month later she begins stalking my tiktok and we communicate over a fake account and when she started not liking the conversation she called the police. This time I go to jail with no bond and two violations of the protection order. I ended up taking the assault charge and one VPO and the other charges dropped. I had contacted her letting her know that my father had a triple bypass and that she was a terrible person for keeping the girls from this side of the family. Now she's turned me in again and I'm facing losing my job, my apartment and going to jail and I've never hit that woman in my life. We have had fights before and sometimes at the worse some things got broken but physical violence was never a place in our home and now I've been convicted of assault. Everything I own including my house and land has been taken from me. The courts just ordered me to pay $1,300 a month in child support. The bank is sending my loan to the recovery dept on the 20th they told me. I'm not working right now and I'm not saying at my apartment because I don't know if/when the law is going to be looking for me. This women took my kids, my house, my 10 acres, everything I own ($35,000 worth of stuff around the house) and I'm in threat of going to jail for crying about it. The lawyers don't/didn't seem to care. My criminal lawyer didn't act like he cared and my divorce lawyer isn't really keeping me in the loop about what's going on in the case. Once child support reaches a felony I'll lose my VA benefits. Any advise gentlemen?
