So my wife and I have been apart for two years legally I guess. We have always gotten along. I e are older and kids are both nearly out of the house. On is in college and the other on high school. Neither needs the others money. I have recently started started being in a relationship. She wants the divorce completed which I understand. The rub for me is we will go into a war where we both will have strong points. Financially neither is dependent on the other for money but it does need to get ended. The question is I have is does anyon have experience with this situation? Spouses get along great. Both involved with kids and no fighting at all. (No fighting in the marriage either. No infidelity etc. just grew apart). Not sure what I’m asking but basically my gf wants the divorce final so I can move one and I am not looking for fight with the ex when we get along so well? What do I do?
