Brother, this happened to me over a year ago. We have a toddler and she selfishly did not care how this was going to affect him. Her parents came and picked up pretty much everything except my own clothes. Supposedly she was to move for only 3 or 4 months but I immediately figured it was a lie. Her parents never reached out to me never sent a message or called and neither have "our" friends. People really do show their true face in the end. I am now fully awake that I put all my eggs into one basket and wasted 9 years of my life on somebody who did not appreciate me at all and left the first moment I stood up for myself and dared to stop my exploitation. She left me with a hefty cc debt bc I was of course paying for everything, while she was stashing her own money, and now that she makes good money with the business I helped her make, she no longer needs me. That's the reality and I accepted it. There is no going back from this betrayal. I am still very much involved in my son's life but it's not ever going to be as if living in one home. I'm doing the best I can in this shitty situation. All that I'm trying to tell you here is that things will be better eventually. You will go through some emotional rollercoasters for sure. What you need to do is focus on yourself and your kids. Everything that you do you have to do to your best to your abilities meaning you have to excel at your work you have to take care of your physical and mental health. Go out and socialize with people and I'm not saying that you have to drink or get dates now, no, just be social because nobody should storm this alone. Hey, I am here for you if you ever want to chat or talk. I got you.

In the end they all show who they really are. It’s sucks but the bright side is she will no longer be part of your life.

My crazy stbx did the same thing showed up with three pickup trucks and two handguns and let me know they were concealed carrying that day, I made sure to take our child to her grandma's house before I called the police and the police made them leave empty handed. So sick some people are.
