Been an long road for all of us on this sub, I just landed the job of a lifetime, new girl (still little weird for me) that’s been good company and when I get my three boys things are starting to get easier, I’m less consumed mentally so it’s easier for me to get into a routine when I get them. The anger and contempt I have for my ex, the divorce process and the thousands I pay in child support each month have started taking the back seat to my vision of the future

Trust me I was left almost homeless, lost my house with the pool, cars repo’d, financially raped with no lube whatsoever, still in mountains of debt, top ramen and peanut butter sandwiches when my boys were with me , literally begging my parents for $50 for gas - but today I had a win for the boys. Today I signed an offer letter for more money than I know what to do with - soon I’ll be back on track, each minute I keep moving forward she keeps getting further and further away in my rear view mirror. Stay strong through the holidays brothers, for those of you just starting off - my only advice is to put all your hope into your future, give no hope into reconciliation accept your situation an believe it’s all happening for reasons you just can’t see yet.

Don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t give them the satisfaction of seeing you weakened and desperate. Something great is coming your way - just gotta keep fighting
