Marriage is fake.The reality is science and evolution. Men are driven by reproducing and women driven by offspring. After it’s all done it’s over. We are a species that was not meant to have a mate for life unlike some other species on the planet.

The better option would have been to simply avoid marriage, whether or not you want children.

The marriage contract is what holds fathers hostage. Custody, parenting time and support can all be determined without the distraction and blackmail in divorce.

Once the offspring are born, the answer is totally clouded by love for one’s children.

But, before you have your own kids? Absolutely divorce is much easier, and generally cheaper, without kids. The obvious one is no custody and no child support to argue about. That’s two huge landmines, diffused.

But the most important one, the most consequential, is this: no kids, you can have a clean, total, complete break from your ex spouse and never, ever interact with them again if you so choose. You really can live as two totally separate adults for the rest of your lives, anywhere you choose. This is nearly impossible to achieve with children.
