Bill introduced to assume maximum equal shared parenting time introduced in June I don't understand why Dems don't join republicans in supporting Equal custody time for parents to each raise their children. But if you're in Ohio, or know someone in Ohio suffering under the weight of judicial and family court abuse stripping you of your civil rights and separating your children from you. Look up your rep and get them to pass this. Spread the word.

"COLUMBUS – State Reps. Rodney Creech (R-West Alexandria) and Thomas West (D-Canton) today hosted a press conference with the National Parents’ Organization announcing new legislation that that revises child custody laws to support equal shared parenting.

Specifically, the bipartisan bill establishes a presumption that equal shared parenting is in the best interest of a child with separated parents. The presumption would apply in instances of legal separation, divorce, dissolution, or annulment of parents’ marriages."

Real question. On one hand I see the feminist slant. However, the Patriarchy says fathers can't raise children and women don't work. I've also met many moms who've lost their children too. It's mostly fathers I know, but the judicial abuse and scammy system is made up Dems and Repubs. The victims of the system are both Dem and Repub, so...I want to be careful framing this as Mother v Father, Dem v Repub. It's about parents - period. Grandmothers of sons are affected. I think the system actively tries to pit parents/groups this way so there's no unity in numbers. We have to appeal to everyone, all parents and future parents to get attention to it. I'm sure I'm naive about this as I'm relatively new to scam. I understand what's behind Title IV D, I get that, but help me out if you have insights.

Yeah, I've met moms that lost their children too, usually (maybe) after they have nearly killed the children, or OD'ed for the 6th time. But for every mother that lost their child, there's a couple of hundred men that have.

Yes, Grandmothers (Grandparents) of sons, I agree with you on. They get crapped on nearly as fathers. I understand you don't want to make it about Dem vs Repub, but the fact is all the father-hating laws are nearly 100% Dem created. And most Repubs don't give a crap to do anything about it and the ones that do are such a minority nothing really ever happens. So yes both parties are guilty, but Dems create the issues, and Repubs for the most part let them get away with it. In fact, I have only ever heard of 1 single high-ranking Democrat (that's a current politician, and technically she is not anymore) and that's Tulsi Gabbard.

By being careful framing it just means you let people get away with bad behavior, does that mean EVERY Democrat & EVERY woman is evil and trying to screw over fathers, NO.

But on the other hand, I am not going to throw blanket shade and cover those 2 groups, where the vast majority of people that do want to destroy fathers come from and that is nearly ENTIRELY responsible for the anti-father legislation.

Maybe if those 2 groups of people get some pressure from their peers, things will change otherwise it's just going to be business as usual and only progress further against fathers. This is more likely what is going to happen, why? Because it's votes for Dems, and Repubs don't give a crap. Women make money off of it, and no one is giving up their gravy train.
